I bet many people have thought about it and probably made a thread about it but wouldn't it be epic if we could have the shaders in the Xbox version? The only reason Jeb isn't adding it to the pc version is because it requires a computer that can run anything. The xbox seems like it would be capable of running the shaders anyways, so the only reason to not add it is because of the way it looks. I know some people are going to say that it will come as a mod when mods are up for download but it should be implemented to the game as at least an option.

Sorry, I like the way my Xbox 360 runs without lighting on fire, melting, and then putting itself out of it's own misery. Minecraft already puts a bigger strain than usual on the Xbox 360 as it is. Adding shaders that you need the highest end PCs to run wouldn't really help it all that much.
Would I want a game that looks like the pictures below? Yes. But I don't want to have to go buy a new Xbox because the game melted my old one.

I guess your right. Maybe when they update the game to the current version on the pc they can start testing out other things such as enhancements to the fps and such, thus making this possible and quite frankly inevitable. Lol, like that will happen
NOPE! In all seriousness, the Xbox probably wouldn't be able to considering most intensive games can't run at 1080p 60fps.
Thanks for the information. I don't know much about that kind of stuff with fps and hd quality but maybe if they make an option where you can have mc as it is or the shaders where it reduces the hd aspect of the game but adds the shading. Who knows.
Let's put it this way. I know people who have PCs that can run StarCraft II and Shogun Total War 2 at tip top graphics, and their PC still has trouble running the shaders on Minecraft. Shadows are extremely intensive on a system.
You have to remember. Dynamic shadows in other games aren't as intensive because the games world cant be fully manipulated. the shadows are usually tied to objects that aren't going to move, ever. In Minecraft, the entire world can be picked and moved. That requires the shadows to adjust to every little change.

This is the case with my comp. I can run as many shaders as I want on my system, but when using Sonic Ethers version with shadows I drop from a smooth 60+ fps to a very stuttering 20-30 fps. For reference I usually run around 120+ on vanilla Minecraft.
I would say yes, because I want to see Minecraft on it's passionate beauty... the glorious sunset and sunrise seeing upon your eyes... they water waving like it's the sea of your heart... the most beautiful experience in my whole life... I would love to see it's leaves waving before my very eyes... so i love it... the peaceful sight of your eyes.
HAHA tech losers xbox would run shaders fine it has very good graphics. If your game is lagging with shaders, play in HD. XBOX doesn't lag with other games that have better shadows AND graphics. Plus, the xbox version being coded in C++, would make shaders run even BETTER! Its a yes for me

This completely shows that you have no idea how stressful it is for the Xbox 360 to run Minecraft.
Graphics are one of the least important things when it comes to running a game.
Lets say that the Xbox could handle sharers perfectly, smoothly and lag free. If I enabled shadows for my world, I would notice and enjoy them for the first 20 minutes then forget they were there. It might be nice, but considering how much lag it might create, I'm gonna pass on this one.

Let me add that to the poll. I have the same opinion. Only different.

I don't know why you are asking.
