I'm building a brick house and I'm worried I won't be able to find enough clay on my map to complete the job (as I've ran all around it and mined all the clay I could find already) - my question is... does clay respawn on a map at all, or is there a way I could put a seed into the map I'm working on, or maybe a way to create your own clay?

Just wondering, any advice is appreciated, thanks guys!

explore all sandy area of you map,or explore all of your map. if there isnt any clay then idk,also check in oceans

or you can duplicate if there truely is no more and you need more

Look in sandy areas near water. You can also duplicate but if you're a person thant doesn't like to cheat (like me), then just keep looking. Hope this helped .

I've been everywhere on my map and so far I've only made 17 brick blocks w/the clay I found. Definitely not enough to build a house with which I'm also trying to do

Thanks for the responses everyone, it was very helpful. I ran around again and found some more clay under the oceans but alas... I am so very tired of running around and looking for this **** lol. I would LOVE to duplicate clay as I used to duplicate obsidian all zee time lol.. BUTTTT, I do believe they took the duplication glitch out (for xbox)... or, am I wrong..? I'll have to try again but I'm pretty sure it doesn't work anymore.

I guess I'll just have to be satisfied with the amount of clay/brick blocks that I have here.... hopefully in the future I can finish my house once they add a patch where you can make your own clay perhaps... thanks again everyone!

Why dupe? What's the point? kinda takes the fun out of the whole Mine and Crafting process Don't you think?

Your best shot is to go to a desert and hope it connect to water. I managed to get 7 full stacks of clay blocks from my seed.

Follow the coast line of the world thats where it usually is and another option is duplicating its pretty much like creative mode except it really defeats the difference between PC and xbox edition. I dont like duplicating :/
