I have a long rail that is underground and has a lot of turns. When i would go past them it would look like my head is in a block and sometimes i would die. I solved this by digging out the side of the turn and the top. Hope this helps!

I've never died from that, but my first mine cart track took a turn into a narrow opening and I would always take a heart of damage when I rode a mine cart on it.
I can't really take a picture to show you....you just go around the last turn and you die. I can invite you to a game so you can look at it if you want?
it rises and falls a lot....my friend wanted me to make a "roller coaster" around all of our stuff so that's what it is. This being said, it rises and falls a lot. I don't think it hits any walls other than while going straight

Does your track touch the wall.
Does it touch a wall while turning?
