I got on my xbox today and started playing some minecraft. I had turned on my HD-PVR so I could start recording a world that I wanted to show off for a while now while commentating. When I loaded up the world I looked at myself in 3rd person and guess what I saw... I was wearing a cape that was white at some parts and mostly transparent. I do say that this was not a mod, And I had no intentions of earning, Unlocking, or wearing this cape. Im 100% Positive it was in fact a cape because when I moved, The cape moved as if it would on the PC.

If you know why my character had a cape please leave a comment on the video. I think it was a WORLD problem because the animals were missing body parts.

I'd say that this proves that cape functionality is built in. You mentioned that animals are missing body parts, so the game is probably glitching up the cape functionality as well. So, maybe we'll get capes in the future =D

Looks like you have a corrupted save file IMO. Maybe from duping to much. Did it get fixed when ya logged back on???

Had never thought of it before but, touche Microsoft. Capes for DLC. Touche.

The code for the game has a lot of stuff not yet in the game. Most 1.8 items are already in the code somewhere. I would't doubt if capes were too.

Next time it happens try taking off your armor. It looks like you were getting the armor and cape overlapping snd causing the cape to clip.

Since I accidentally saved the game when I exited It saved with the cape on.

Interesting... maybe there is a hope for capes in the future...

I forgot... WELCOME to the forum...... Your vid is already on other Cape threads. I wish ya well !!! Are you able to murder mobs that are glitched and pick up the drops???? A few seethru pigs and chickens is no reason to start over. BTW, This makes me wonder what goodies will be added for this years Minecon...... Going to Minecon was the only way to get a cape legit but, the code is there. I wonder what will be in store this year...... The capes will be old news after Minecon London...
