No, i havnt. But I have all types of piston doors, 3x3, 2x2,2x1, and working on a 4x4 on a private survival map now. I dont see the problem. More details maybe?

If the glitch is having the top or bottom block retract before the other one then just configure the redstone a little and make it more simple and compact.
I've never experienced a glitch with the ones I've built. I've got a 2x1, 2x2, and 3x3 that all work just fine. They don't lag, blocks don't disappear, and no other types of glitches.

This is the thing that has been happening to me. Can you be more specific of what you did to your 2x1 door?
