Well, I've still got the graphed out plans, so it'll be resurrected at some point... just very limited visitors list, gnomesane? Once the whole thing is trapped out, I'd actually have fun watching griefers try to mess with it (heheheh).... if it weren't for the damn dupe glitch.
Did I mention the retracting floor in the obsidian-lined inner gatehouse? Or the dry moat layered in 1-deep soulsand supported by torches over lava pits? I've got some nice traps lined up.
New to the forum, and could not agree with you more on how hard it has been to try and find good people in multiplayer to play.
If anyone is interested here in joining, then this is what we are looking for in players -
Creating a strong team of players for a multiplayer world to be setup for developing let's plays, tutorials, tips and tricks, and plain old fun adventuring. We enjoy only playing on the hard setting, with NO duping, glitching, cheating, griefing, etc. hard work and creativity is a must. Only want mature players.

All my friends are bored with Minecraft so it's just me playing by myself everyday. And when they do play they screw around and mess stuff up. So I feel your pain.

Can someone explain this Duping to me? Is it something that I should look out for if
I happen to find people to play with?
Basically, it's an exploit of a program bug, that allows you to duplicate items with a dispenser... there may be other methods, but that's the one I know of. There's still debate about this, but I'm convinced that it leads to corruption in save files, and that corruption can be a delayed effect. I think if you can find and incinerate all of the duped items/blocks, you might stop it, but I'm not sure. I've never duped, and I've never had a save file that failed on me. Just about everyone who has posted about their save files being corrupted has eventually admitted that yes, they used the "dupe glitch" on the map in question.
I really don't care if people dupe on their own maps... just don't try to BS me into thinking you got those 500 gold blocks legit, and OH HELL NO don't you dupe on MY map.
@taco - that is what my buddy and I do with our map, it is saved on the HDD, Cloud, and flashdrive. It seems like over kill but it has really saved us a few times when trying to find other people to join our multiplay.

I may not be as experienced as other players of the game but I wouldn't mind playing in a good multiplayer game with you guys. What would I have to do to join up?
