It's finding someone mature and has close to the same ideas, that's the hard part. Just that i have played with a few people that make me Wanna stop playing with others.

Oh hell. You can add me too if you feel like it: gamertag - excelinor, 25; not very good at building stuff but always glad to help with collecting resources, when I have some spare time.

If you feel people are trying to destroy your world simply copy your world to a usb flash drive as a safe back up. A flash drive isnt expensive at all . I dont get people thinking its fun to troll hard work . Its one thing to do it on mw3 or BF3 as you honestly cant truly greif.

Its hard finding decent servers add me if you want, my gamertag is "The Onion". I need some people to play with that arent complete douchebags.

im under 18 and whats funny is that i was on a server (my brother was eating) so i built something and they were impressed then they relized i was not 18 and they cursed at me for five minutes.... why are minecrafters so rude?

@OP, I truly sympathize. For instance I have a lava spawn trap, and even people I thought were friends were destroying it. Then the little kiddies. Hell I got three of my own so I get plenty of the high pitched, testicles not dropped yet talk, and the last thing I want is some twelve year old jumping in my game and stark barking at me. Now little kids don't get me wrong its not just your voice that bugs me it is the lack of manners, like the little kid today that told me to let him out of the spawn or else...your stuck what is the else part.

They badly need a permission system or something like that. Would be great along with being able to join anyone's game. Not just friends or friends of friends.
I also notice to when you say 18+ you get more little kids wanting to join??? Weird.

i only play with peolple who i can trust and not people who right when they join they say stuff like: do You have diamond?,Can I borrow them?,and can you give me some materials to make a (item)?.. i say go get your own stuff.

I play w/a few people I trust and I'm starting to accept more friend requests lately for MC but i'm still skeptical so I haven't played yet w/them yet(sorry guys) but I guess I need to just go w/it and save as often as possible and you should do the same 2Stoned. The minute you suspect griefing kick em and ask the people you're going to play with how old they are and if they lie defriend them. as for the forums i know what you mean and it's hard not to get caught up in the drama(I fall victim to that myself) but right now this is the best place to discuss,find MC players,and request help and until there is a new forum I'll be here

It's really hard to trust people who playing on multiplayer Minecraft because you don't know what they are capable of. Man, I've known my friend since 3rd grade and I still don't know to trust him on these kind of games, even in real life.. No matter how much work I do, when someone joins my server, I never save.

I'm 13 and I built a nice mansion that still needs work so why is age an issue here.

I would be happy to help. Problem is, I can barely connect to anybody else. So you would have to live in the Midwest somewhere. And when you say same ideas do you mean building, political, or what? I believe I am quite mature too.

There is alot of imfornation you cant tell from forum posts unless people make it public. You only see my bio if you are on xbox. I know I can come off as appearing offish with text Thats just my style of writing not my personality. I also get told I sound young (Im in my 40's) when I speak on the mike. People assume Im from the USA side of the world because of the times I play. I can play in any time zone just depends on if Im playing late at night, early morning. I am from the UK as are alot of late night players. Im not always fond of achievement gains for the sake of achievements so my xbox profile is probably lower than you would expect. What all this boils down to is, you got to learn to trust people, safe guard your work but see if they fit into your style. You cant always tell what a book is like from the front cover, you got to read it a little, then make up your mind.
