So my first few double iron doors worked perfectly. I know that one of the doors toggles itself the opposite of the door next to it, making it difficult to make them work together, but I still did it with an inverter and some repeaters.
However, one of the doors at this point keeps having its first redstone torch burned out, which breaks the circuit. I can't for the life of me figure out why this keeps happening, as its been that way twice now. These doors have used almost the exact same wiring (Few wires in different areas, nothing major), but neither of the doors I try to make post patch have worked. I've changed the wiring in this one around four times now, and I haven't been able to fix it.
I've probably wired something wrong, but there is the chance that the patch somehow broke certain redstone circuits. Most likely the former, but here are some pictures:
As you can see, the torch to the left has somehow burned itself out... Note that the wires are a block apart. the repeater is receiving its power from a piece of redstone under a switch a block behind and above it.
