I can play with a group of friends for hours at a time with no crashes so I don't think it's a game issue, it could be either a hardware issue(old xbox) or you have a lot going on ingame. Did you have a lot of pistons running or a huge slime farm? I have read a few posts on here that the slime farms can get out of hand and cause the game to crash.
I just went to the store and came back to find my minecraft and xbox are completely frozen. Had to turn it off by the button.

I thought this would be fixed by now, holy crap.. How long does it take to fix such a silly bug?
