My first house was 4x3 wooden that changed into a 5x7 stone and is currently 31 by 17 that links 2 other buildings with a single track rail station thru the middle Your house is great. To extend it or not is personal choice. Do you want it as a stand alone house or in a village. If its for a village its probably big enough. Move to creating the next house in the village.

Well, actually, it isn't. My first house was a 6x6 Wooden house, but that was on the PC. I'm saying this is my first XBLA house. I'm doing way better houses, but I didn't think a dirt house ever even crossed my mind because I was looking at tutorials.
My first house was a cave that I covered the front of and put a door on and added a door in front of the mine. It was a good home, it had everything I needed to survive... I miss it to be honest, got me first diamonds in its mine.... lost it in a battle with about 5 creepers and a ender man... RIP softwind cave, never forget.
Not a bad house. Better than anything I would ever put the time into building. As far as continuing on with it, that's up to you. If it were my house, I would probably start a new one, but that's just me.
