I have been experiencing fps issues, i would say, since the fix update released on June 15. The "lag" is consistent when loading chunks(rendering terrain) but can happen even when I'm mining a 1x2 or spinning. For the sake of example, ill say that Minecraft runs on 60 frames per second. The FPS can go as low as 30-40, but its mostly just little spikes here and there.
I dont know whether or not it happens in multiplayer because.... well dont have any friends that are avid minecraft players.
Could it be that my xbox is fried? Or has anyone else had noticeable problems with FPS.
I'm looking for players in the Western United States that are 17+ who have echo-free mics.
I just started a world with a great prairie terrain that has alot of potential for a town.
I had absolutely no lag when the game first came out. I was so stoked to be able to play the game fluidly. This problem arose well before this recent update. I think its safe to say that it's been "lagging" since the fix update on june 15.
It's manageable, but it REALLY takes away from the experience. I stopped playing minecraft on the PC cuz my PC is 10 years old.
And again, it's most "laggy" when walking around a new map and the chunks are rendering, or whatever the technical term for it is.
Thanks everyone. I'm glad to know that im not the only one suffering.

I can't say that I've experienced fps issues with redstone contraptions cuz I suck with redstone xP
But thanks for the imput.
I was having horrible lag playing with King-Skin, then did the above and no more worries.
