Why can't you duplicate yourself? There are over 10 ways you can duplicate (4+ you can do by yourself).

I did not know thati it could currupt your save. And I decided to just mine it and do it the legit way.
It is not guaranteed that it will corrupt your save, but it has happened. It is a safer (and in my opinion, more fun and challenging) to do it legitimately.

As far as I know they only thing that will corrupt your world is:
1. Removing the patch and duping then saving
2. Installing the patch playing, then saving
3. Removing the patch duping then saving
Doing that enough times is what will mess your world up.

yeah, i don't think duping can mess your game up. i've duped plenty of times and it hasn't happened nor have i heard of it happening to anyone else.
Unless someone has found a rule on that...
