Hello, new to the forums.
I recently made a slime farm and throughout all my playthroughs I have never encountered a slime. I followed tutorials by placing it near bedrock, made it like 30x50, lit up the room. The room was 3 blocks high but I extended it to 4-5 because it was not working. I am really frustrated and I need help. My gamertag is XGeN ReaL. I currently do not have a mic. Thanks.

Damn I dont think I did. I just went near bedrock, dug alot to form a big room and lit it up. I
used the tool and got a slime area. Now all I need is someone to help me dig it out. I already got the whole thing dug out around.

I feel for you. I looked up my seed, or rather what I thought it was. Sawa double spawn point, dug it out. Then discovered it was the wrong seed I used. Going to dig where atleast I saw a slime spawn next time lol.

I built a slime farm the proper way, at bedrock, in a slime chunk, and no matter how long I wait 25 blocks away, no slimes spawn. They have before, so I don't know what's wrong. :/

Have you lit up all surrounding cave systems and areas very well? Slimes are much more rare than other mobs and will spawn even less frequently when there are other mobs around.

Yep. Dug out 20 blocks in all directions (except down of course) and there are no caves. It's lit well, and is 16x16x8 in volume.

it kind of confusing you just have to match coordinates on the grid
