I have a large mob spawner built around layer 40. There is a nearby mine, a few chunks away but close enough to stay loaded in. If I hang out around the mob spawner for a while, then save, exit and change to peaceful, and go to the mine, parts of the cavern contain spawned slimes of various sizes.
slimes don't de-spawn when you turn it to peaceful
I've seen it referenced and specifically mentioned once, but it's not in the list so I'm reiterating it. I'm unsure if it's an ongoing issue or a random occurrence, but my redstone torches are turning off and won't turn back on without me destroying and replacing them.
Also, pressure plates don't work on initial load. I have to replace them everytime I login for my automated systems to run that use them.
If you place a repeater facing a block & enable it, then remove said repeater the redstone/torch stays activated even though there is no current.

I can confirm this, or something similar. No camera, so I'll try to describe (directions arbitrary)
I had four blocks, three repeaters, one bit of Redstone, and a button. Set up blocks at NW, NE, SE, and SW, current running clockwise. 3 Repeaters set to 4 ticks: 1 at East facing South, 1 at South facing West, 1 at West facing North, and North connected by Redstone. Button on SE block.
Hit button, all three repeaters light up, don't ever go out. Knock out Redstone at North... all still lit up. Knock out NW block, all still lit up. Knock out West Repeater, both others lit up. Knock out SW block, still lit up. Knock out South Repeater, East still lit up. Only if I mess with the NE block that feeds East Repeater, or the SE block or button, does the system go dark.
I'll try ASCII graphics, forgive me if it doesn't work (fingers crossed for non-breaking spaces):
Hitt button, all light up and stay on. Knock out Redstone:
[ ] [ ] .^ v [ ]<[B]
...still on. Knock out NW Block:
[ ] .^ v [ ]<[B]
...still on. Knock out West Repeater:

Why is there a Halo of clear weather above me when I look up when it is raining or snowing.
Yes! I noticed this right after the update this month! And I know it wasn't this way initially--I adore the rain effects in-game and often stopped playing and looked around, so the invisible block in the sky is new with the update, and really kills the rainy times.
Too: Will there be any way added to alter weather patterns? I see PC players in vids just type "/weather sun" or whatever to change it--an in-menu weather toggle would be really nice!
I've experienced a TON of those issues, but after the updates I haven't had any of them again.
The only thing I've had lately is the blocks not disappearing or re-appearing, as well, some SEVERE lag playing split screen.
Yes, many players are having this problem. As you know(since your on splitscreen) your using an HDMI cable. Go to the dashboard, and then system settings, and then graphics and select 1080x screen format. This erased my lag. Ane the reason it lags is that if the xbox is set up to a different format than the TV, the xbox will run its secondary engine to make do. Which causes very small, but noticable lag.
We are currently trying to pinpoint the cause of Lag and Framerate issues caused by the latest update.

Ever since the last update, the shine of torches doesn't disappear completely if you remove the torch (haven't noticed that with other light sources yet). I can't tell if it's just a visual glitch or if the still illuminated blocks actually count as illuminated in terms of being able to spawn mobs, etc. Placing another torch or any other light source and removing it again doesn't change anything about it. It doesn't happen all the time but quite often, and almost always if you place a torch underwater.
Secondly, the lower light level of redstone ore blocks you hit overrides the higher light level of nearby light sources. So if I have a torch next to a redstone ore block and I hit that block, it gets darker.
Piston elevators I've had no issues with so far, Im guessing however as I've yet to see any videos of what is actually happening that when the piston pushes you the player goes through the piston (Due to the flickering),
We are aware of the flickering when pistons are active and have been working to fix that.

Maybe I didn't express myself clearly (happens from time to time), but it's not that a redstone block you're hitting turns everything darker. Only the redstone block itself becomes darker than the surrounding blocks even though it shouldn't with a torch or other light source right next to it.

First couple days after the patch all was fine; however, now when playing multiplayer with family members, displays a conflict of privacy & content warning. Both accounts have full permissions (all is allowed), except for purchasing, and can play offline games fine. Also first couple days, multiplayer allowed additional Xbox live non-gold members to play as themselves; conversely, it has reverted back to only allowing them as guest.
Would really like to have the first addressed, since my children play with me and other family across the country, and now cannot. No settings or modifications have been changed what so ever, worked pre-patch, and few day after patch. Bug???
Also, after switching to a trial skin of the wizard, my player is now immortal and cannot take any damage. Take the fun out the game. I have tried drowning, TNT, fire, lava, creepers, wolves and other player attacking me. I had diamond armor on when I switched skins, if it makes any difference?? Cool at first, but boring after a few nights.
Today, when my friend started up his world, the game reset our saved player locations and took away all our inventory items.
This never happened before. For the past three weeks, we always spawned exactly where we had been when we left the game previously. We've all slept in our beds, etc.
Unfortunately, due to the constant griefer problem, this world has a spawn prison that is impossible to escape from unless we decide to let a player out. So we're all now stuck in the spawn prison and the world is unplayable (except that he has a backup from yesterday that does work okay).
Questions:
1. Why did this happen? Why did we all get reset back to spawn and lose all our items? Is this a known issue?
2. Will this happen again at some point with the backup map?
Moral: Don't do spawn prisons if the game is not stable enough. sigh

Anyways, this bug has been affecting my world in the worst way possible. Every single time I restart the server, all of our things are removed from our inventory. This has caused some people to avoid playing in my world! This is out of control. Please tell me you guys aren't going to wait until the next update to fix these MAJOR issues.

Certain World No longer Opening (SEVERE) [S-02]
Another severe bug. Some people have experienced world saves no longer opening, possibly because the saves have become corrupted.
I've talked to Xbox Support and they said just to post here, my world file wont open anymore, its a 46mb file.
