That's normal. The PC version mob spawners all showed pigs at this version also. I forget which update added them, but you can always look on the wiki.
Has anyone else had a problem with water source blocks holding light?
As an example, I was trying to build a mob drop farm up in the sky. I had my entire area enclosed with just a few torches in it whilst I was building. The final thing I did was place my water source blocks so that the mobs would drift towards the hole in the middle and plummet to their death. After that, I collected the few torches I had left in there so the room would be completely dark with no light sources. But what I found was that the water source blocks seemed to be holding a small amount of faint light. If I collected the water back in the buckets and re-placed them whilst the room had no other light coming in, they would place as normal, with no light. Then, if I open up a block and let light in the room, the water blocks again seem to hold the light once I reseal the room. So the only way I could ensure my room would be 100% dark was to place all the water blocks in the dark, then fall through the hole in the middle myself.
This seems to be a very annoying bug.
Another thing I have noticed with my dark room is that it is at cloud level, and when clouds are passing through the room, mobs don't seem to spawn. Not sure if they are meant to, or whether clouds provide some sort of light which prevents spawning?
Some of the big slimes don't take damage at all, have tried with hand, sword and some tools. I'm hoping they will drown, otherwise my pool is useless.
They will always drown you just don't get credit for the kill I have hundreds of slimes and credit for 5 kills and those are for killing the small ones.
I felt if you drown them you should get credit for the kill on the other hand it is slime suicide.

Solution make an infinite pool of water in the dark room were you are in a dark part of the room in a lower level were clouds wont light the pool,You can take the buckets of water from your dark pool and not have a problem and you wont run out. Or grab the buckets of water at night for some reason this does not happen all the time. I don't known why. I had glow stone on the bottom of the sea and I had to place stones on the bottom till the light was gone as far as two blocks out then I just removed the stones.

this seems to be a real annoying problem because clouds should not pass though the structures at all.

All I get is pigs with spider spawners in the every dungeon I know this has to be a bug, Dungeon after dungeon I am waiting waiting to find some thing different after 6 finds.
Someone told me there are only 6 and there are no more I has anyone heard different can anyone confirm this, if so were do the others come from
Until now I didn't have a reason to use not blocks, but it seem the they don't work on the ground and make a thump sound when pressed, but work perfectly on top of a torch when connected to a button pressed once. I say once because when I place on them either on the ground or on a block I'm not able to get them to play in order with the standard 1-4 ticks of repeaters in the order i want them to be played. They do work on a block, just not in order (with the four repeaters) as it would in the PC version. Even though I know its late in the game, I hope they fix this in the next update.

The instrument they emulate depends on the block on which they are placed. If you have them sitting on a stone-based block, they emulate a bass drum, which may be the "thump" you're describing.
Please Rebalance the Tools with Gold ore! The Gold Pickaxe destroy the block faster and hold very small! The Wood and Iron Pickaxe hold longer as the Gold Tools why?
Not a bug. When you opt for gold tools, you are trading speed for durability.

The thing I hate most about the Xbox Edition is that furnaces, crafting tables, and redstone ore blocks take way too long to break. It annoys me greatly!

It might be annoying, but it's not technically a bug.
I made a topic regarding my constant game freezes here.
Basilcally, my second world has started to freeze aswell as my first.
First world,
- very constant freezing in any direction if I wander 20-30 blocks away from home;
- always freezes at same spot of downhill rail track going down a mine;
- sometimes freezes on loading screen;
Second world,
- freezes when I try to explore top left corner of map;
Is anybody having any freezing/crash issues? This is really killing the game for me, will new update fix these freezing issues? Any help kindly appreciated.
I can record videos on phone > youtube if it helps any.
1. I created a house in a snow biome, and when the house was completed, proceeded to remove the snow from the blocks inside the house, but the snow kept reappearing, even when there was no block directly underneath it. So the snow was in mid-air
2. Whilst chopping down some trees that I had recently planted, I encountered a glitch that would not let me walk over/through a particular block. There was nothing obstructing me (eg. no leaves, grass, etc), it was a standard grass block I was trying to walk over, but no matter which angle I tried, the screen kept shaking/flickering as it pushed me back to the previous block. It simply would not let me walk over it. I tried walking backwards, sideways, approaching it from all sides, but it just kept forcing me back. Thinking back at it now, perhaps I should have tried placing another block there to see if it would work, or try mining the block that I was trying to walk on, or try passing that block over or under... in the end, I finished chopping my trees, planted some new ones, and when I went back to chop them again, the problem had gone.

Issue reported to microsoft already it seems that when you enter any game the advertisments stay active on an open port from the dash boarddurring the game play and this is not supose to happen. This eats up over head or cases unexplained game crashes with this game and many others.
You can watch this with a port scanner as you play and see the advertisments continue to be delivered durring your game play I found this durring modem fail over on my ciso 1800 on a report I pulled reguarding a attempted network intrustion, then again while tracking down infected / comprimised office computers.
I hope this is fixed in the dash board update and resolves the lockups
1. I dont know if this is a bug but i had about... 16 wolves and all the animals stopped spawning.
2. i dont know if this is my controller or xbox but after i play in a world for a few days (even if i haven't built a lot) my character will sometimes randomly slow down for a second while walking. (i raced my friend and he was far in front of me by the end, no jumping just a straight run)
3. blocks re-appearing if your just in reach to break an edge or corner of it.

1: There is a passive mob cap, your wolves count towards that cap therefore no other passive mobs can spawn.
2:More than likely lag issues
3:Could be lag, also could be mining at the edge of the map.
I read alot of these pages for bugs not all but whenever i play with two others in my splitscreen the host 1st player sometimes gets a doppleganger and i do have the most recent update also you can kill yourself like that and u push yourself off stuff too
There is a bug in agressive mob spawning that allows them to spawn in light levels above 7 (NOTE: This has nothing to do with the spawn in house bug.)
See picture below
The double half slab blocks are in a 7x7 pattern and start 7 blocks from the cobble/glass wall. I watched two skeletons spawn within 1 block of the dirt block near the center of the frame. Note that the skeletons spawned with 1 sec of each other. (basically, I started the server in easy mode to test the mob shooting gallery behind the cobble wall and saw the two skeletons there as soon as the game loaded.)
This means the skeletons spawned on blocks that were at least light level 10.
Update: there is definitely a bug in the spawning system. Last night - in the same place, I had a spider spawn within 4 blocks of the lava fountain on the left.
I'm noticing that these "faulty" spawns appear to drop in from the ceiling (i.e. I have seen the crititer spawn and they don't just pop in, rather they seem to fall down.) Since this room is at bedrock (y=4), I'm wondering if these faulty spawns are perhap spawns from caverns about me that have clipped through the rock somehow and ended up on this layer.

I think I have come across that too. Just the other day when I loaded up my world, I was already in one of my well lit up caves. Straight away I walked forward a few blocks and turned a corner, and there was a spider there. The entire cave system is fully lit up. Except right near where I found the spider, there was a corner in the room up near the roof - about 6 blocks high that was very dark. I thought he must have spawned from there.
I've also seen zombies spawn in similar situations from dark corners up near the ceiling of a room.
There is one glitch that I call "The torch of eternal darkness" basically i'd be mining placing torches... then i turn around and the mine is dark but the torches are there, the torches don't give off light.
Use the forum search function for "delete skin trial pack". Your problem is that the system sees you as still having the trial pack and therefore locked out of the full release. Others have had the same problem - there was a thread a couple of months ago.

I have found that if you put them behind a fence or a closed door they don't teleport and if they do it is very rare if you do this.
The only time now when it happens now is if someone attacks my dogs, then my dog teleports to me after the kill
