Are you logged in with the gamer tag you tamed them with?
It seems when crafting white wool you require white wool to make it, which makes no sense. Basically it just sucks up bone meal.
Recipe for white wool: bone meal + white wool = white wool?

From what I understand, it's the same way on PC, but I for one would really like to see it changed to accept any color wool so that we could "bleach" other colors back to white.

Ok now that I am officially cross-eyed from scrolling through 26 pages of thread to make sure this wasn't addressed yet. I read a few posts about it but it doesn't look like 4J has responded to it, and I don't see it up on the bug list.
If you leave a world with a wooden pressure plate pressed, reload the world, it stays pressed even if it shouldn't be. I have noticed it a few times but just broke the plate and replaced it, no big deal. I have had an issue lately with a bud switch that every time I reload the game I need to go down, break the plate and replace it for it to work.
While it's not game breaking, it is a bit of a pain since it is my way into my hidden base, and breaking in to my own home is making my neighbors nervous . No but in all seriousness I wanted to know if this will be fixed or not. If not I will start working on a different design for an MC360 bud switch that works after the world reloads.
* I did see a post about particles and I don't believe this is the issue considering it is encased in stone. *

We have taken note of the bug don't worry, I'll need to update the bug list when I get a chance this week with some of the more recent changes.

I found a rather annoying building glitch that causes you to lose resources. I don't know if this has been addressed before, but it involved half slabs. I hope I can explain it as it is sorta hard to describe.
What happens is if you place a half slab down on the ground and then place a half slab above it connecting to the next block, it forces it on top of the first slab to make a full block. We all know that, but here's where it gets tricky. If place a half slab on the side of a block and there are any half slabs below it already, it will force it down on top of the furthest slab below it, causing you to lose any of the slabs that were between those two forever.
I was using half slabs every block to add detail to the side of my house and I came across this. If you start from the top down, you don't have this issue, but if you place a half slab on the side of a block and directly above another half slab, it will have this sort of accordion effect. :/
Has anyone else heard of this?
EDIT: For those looking to replicate and verify this bug, here are the exact steps for it to occur.
1. Use any full block to build up 4 high.
2. Use 3 half slabs on the sides of these blocks starting with the second highest, the third highest and finally the block on the ground.
3. Now place a half slab on the side of the highest block and it will squish down to the bottom, forming a full block on the floor. This makes the second and third highest slabs disappear completely.
I HAVE A BUG TO REPORT!
If you change your Gamertag when you have tamed dogs, the dogs no longer become yours.
That's because they still belong to your original gamertag. You've effectively entered the world as two different players. I bet you also spawned at the original spawn area, was given a new map, and did not have any inventory on you either. I don't think it's a bug.
Ive noticed when I had a sticky piston in my inventory, and when I handed it over to a friend I save it before he duplicates it, and somehow it's not in his inventory after the save, and it couldn't be found anywhere.
I have also noticed a friends tamed dog will be sitting and when ever i go near it it would attack me even while sitting, my friend never hit me nor have I ever hit him. Does it every time. But only in 1 of his worlds. Not sure why.
When you put 2 wooden doors and any type of pressure plates to activate them the left door will automatically open without anybody or anything on it, thus the left door is forcibly opened, making impossible to close it, while the right door functions normally
its a extremely annoying bug.
Also when cactus drops (when you hit it) hit a cactus it disappears, and you cant pick up the drop.
is there anybody who has the same problems as me?

No idea for THE first problem... But any drops that fall in a cactus are immediatly "destroied" in any Version of minecraft

This is a known issue with double doors, fixed in version 1.2 of the Java version. There is a workaround using redstone, but I can't seem to find the link at the moment, although I did post it earlier in this thread for someone else who asked. In the meantime, I'd recommend just not using double doors with pressure plates.
