The other day I encountered a very strange glitch with one of my doors. Basically, the bottom half of the door was rendered as being closed and the top half as open (like a "dutch door"). I could not walk through the door, I did not try shooting an arrow through the open top half.
I have not been able to reproduce this render error, but would like to comment that if it were put in as a feature, it would be VERY cool!

only problem with that is it would take a lot of programming as to how to open each half when you want it to or open it as a whole, how it would react toward buttons, pressure plates, etc. and how other entities would react toward the different halves being opened such as shooting an arrow through the top half or having a farm animal/wolf walk through the open bottom half while the top is closed. it would take a lot of work to do so as cool as it would be i doubt it would be added any time soon if it all.

I find the various door rendering glitches "disturbing" in some ways. I especially hate waking up to find a pig staring at me with its head sticking through my closed, single door. Usually when I get the Dutch door glitch, it's the bottom half that appears to be open and the top half that appears to be closed. Real world Dutch doors usually have the bottom closed and the top open... and then, of course, there's the glitch about monsters spawning inside a lit room if you have double doors. Irritating because I really like the look of the double doors on houses.
I think it all has to do with doors being both solid and non-solid - e.g. they're supposed to be solid when closed and then allow you to walk through them when open.
i'm play today in Nether, and the Ghast deactivate my Portal but not activate if the fireball direct hit the Portal.
i can't always hear the Ghast scream or other sounds then the distance is to small.
The ghast fireballs will not reactivate the portal no matter what. You have to re-light it with a flint and steel.

this means that you have to die to get out or reignite your portal, though this is a good way to boost for obsidian because when you go back through from the other side it spawns a new portal in the same general area inside the nether. but obviously if you are getting attacked by ghasts near your portal then it might be safer to switch to peaceful if you plan on mining it. or kill the ghast/ghasts of course.

Found this in the history section for beta 1.9pre1 on the ghast page: "Fixed bug in 1.6 that caused Ghast's fireballs to not cause fires." My guess is that is the reason it's not re-igniting, and hopefully that fix will be included in the 1.8.2 release.
Like in PC version most, if not all of these bugs happened during the same update. Of course the updates arent exactly the same as in PC but, they STILL have to update it little by little. If they update it to 1.3.2 now, they memory would be insane. they cant possibly do that in one update.
Me and a few friends experience a problem accepting invites from the dashboard and the game telling us that we have the trial version and need to purchase the full game to accept the invite then once we're in the game the invites work fine...

Duplicate Bug when standing on a furnace and break it with a pickaxe 97%~ and switch fast to a sword will result in breaking it and respawn it again after that you get inside the furnace and put an item in it and continue to press A on it (after about 1 minute) the furnace gonna disapper and the item will come back to
your inventory but will still stay on the ground by throwing the one at your inventory and making sure you don't have any of that item type in your inventory and going straight to the "Fake" one that lying on the ground it will make you pick it up and you will get a stack of 64 of that item (Even if you just putted 1 in the furnace) After that split it to half and continue to close and open your inventory it may disapper just go take
it again from the ground and do that after a few seconds the item will duplicate to about 190 - 210~ of that item which you can use freely
1) When I activate a piston, the piston becames Invisible...
2) If I pace some Stone Slabs near a Glass block, the stone slab becames black In The sides
3) THE Powered Minecart doesn't go itself ( I put in some coal/charcoal and it doesn't go)
4) I died so many times even If I had all the oxygen...
( Bad English excuse me! )

i don't know is it a bug or not or it is intentional then this is since the release from MCXB360E. In Monster Spawner rotate only Pigs.
would be good to see is it a Skeleton, Zombie or Spider Spawner. Wiki means it is implemented in Version 1.2
This is how it was in the PC at this point as well. In fact, they actually only started showing which mob they spawn in release version 1.2 (snapshot 12w06a, to be precise). Maybe 4J Studios can bring that forward to the Beta 1.8.2 update, though…

Just a little nuisance bug I noticed. Frequently (but not always) when I am placing water next to lava to make obsidian, the music sound file momentarily cuts off.

Could it jut be coincidence? I've noticed that the music does not play continuously, so maybe you just happened to pour your water as it was fading out?

While doing my "Life of a Diamond Pickaxe" experiment, I was pouring water on blocks next to lava almost steady for several days. While it didn't happen with every pour, it did happen:
a. suddenly with no gradual fade out as occurs at the end of the song
b. consistently at exactly the moment the water hit the adjacent block
I'm convinced that it is not mere coincidence, but rather a bug that most people wouldn't encounter frequently enough to notice it.
It may be a similar flaw as was in the lightning sound file or it may have something to do with my older XBox not being able to process both events at the same time.

I'll have to see if it happens in my game next time I run across some lava. I have one of the newer, slim 360s, so we'll be able to determine if it only happens on the older ones.

Thanks for sharing this I did not know how this worked, They could solve this by just adding creative mode or does creative mode bother people as well cutting in to creativity and limits the mind as well.
I would really like to see all the bugs go soon and creative come along soon.
Pretty sure that's not a bug. I've experienced this but leaves are just fine with wood log blocks beneath them. RoosterTeeth said something about this in their Minecraft Wipeout Let's Play stating something like leaves will decay if there's no wooden log within a reach of 4 or so leaves.
Just put wooden logs beneath them. Like if you wanna use them to make bushes (which is something I do) just dig the dirt from the ground, replace the dirt with a log, and put a leaf block on top of that and your good to go.

Yeah, it I wouldn't call it a "bug" per se, but it will be "fixed" in a later update so that player placed leaves don't despawn.
