I am sick of the leader boards being reset, ive lost the proof that i killed a spider jocky, ive also had my block totals reset..... i was up in the 30 throusandth in the world and now im at the bottom...... Just lost a bet with my friends.......
if you reset you cache or things like this or dupe it can reset on you
I have reset my cache many times to fix things and then my score goes backwards I see now there is a "Minecraft Safe Info" Saved Game file that is separate now I think that is how they have fixed the avatar issue this may be you score issue if you play on another xbox and don't move that file with your save.
Pistons, when activated with a continuous pulse, will stay retracted if it cannot extend, even if the block preventing it from extending is moved. Say a piston is extending towards another piston, blocking it from extending. If that piston is retracted and the other one already has redstone powering it, the other piston will not extend.
I have this issue to as well the redstone circuit works for a while then just stops, I have found adding a piece of red stone to the circit then removing restarts it most of the time.
as far a a cobble stone generator with a clock circuit I gave up on that now it stops after eight or one or two or what ever it wants.
here is another problem harvest a crop leave the area come back and sit and wait for it to grow it seems now you have to be present for it to grow now. were as before you did not have to be present.
Has anyone else noticed that MAPS are showing an INCORRECT position??
I can't upload pictures because the "share screenshot" option does not show the map, when you take a screenshot looking at your map.
But please, see by yourselves.
The game maps are showing a wrong direction, by a few centimeters. Take your map when you are playing alone (better if you are alone because on multiplayer there are too many arrows pointing everywhere on the map).
Now, just FACE A BLOCK IN FRONT OF YOU. I mean, get close to any block or just take the blocks on the floor as example, and position yourself face-to-face with the block, not in the corners.
If you face a block, your map MUST show that you are aiming straight at one direction - North, South, East, West - but instead, if you look at your map, it will show you looking at a corner more to the right(?).
Please 4J, Fix this. It may not be a HUGE DEAL but still, it is annoying and complicated to follow the map when walking around, I use maps regularly and this bug made me lost myself a couple of times...

Same thing happens on PC with Maps.
Rotating the character one direction shows correctly on the map, rotating in the opposite direction is incorrect however.

with a creeper trap I a able to trap the creepers like before and they don't vanish . the problem now is you cant get the use the traps any more to harvest the records the creepers explode. some times they destroy the obsidian blocks as well that is not suppose to be possible.
I do get the sheep, pigs and cows trapped they do vanish after a while. was this suppose to be fixed...
how are you attempting to get the records from them? im sure you probably know this but if you dont, creepers will only drop a record if it is killed by a skeleton, easiest done by shooting it 4 times yourself with arrows then letting the skeleton do the finishing shot, or slashing it twice with an iron sword and letting the skeleton get the last shot.

ivehave an unusual problem. when i was building a city my hotel caught fire. first i thought it was fire on netherrack. but as soon as i destroyed it the building caught fire again. now everytime i leave 1 of 4 spots in the hotel goes up in flames. how can i stop this its only getting worse
this just started after the latest updated if you don't have bonemeal to pop em them you lose em
It's been working fine for me post-update - without bonemeal and just tilled and irrigated soil. Try digging up your soil blocks, replacing them, and then tilling them again.
Well i was wanting to know if anyone else has had this issue cause it really really made me very mad.
I made myself a farm for chickens to gather the eggs... well after spending 3 hours on it i was finally done.. now to my bug.
I had myself 13 eggs. I saved after i had finished all my work and to make sure that i would get at least 1-2 chickens from the eggs. Well i threw the eggs and got nothing so i reloaded the game. Threw them again and still nothing. I did this at least 15 times and STILL not even ONE chicken... so i was wondering do i have the worse luck ever or is the eggs bugged.... thanks for listening to my rant.. feels good to finally get it off my chest.

The eggs randomly spawn chickens so its not bugged and you have to be lucky.

Yes i know there is a 1/8 chance for them to spawn but we are talking about 195 eggs and not even one chicken... there is no way u can't get a chicken in 195 throws...
Anyway last night i was testing it again and in normal mode (the mode i always play in) i still got nothing... so i tried it in peaceful mode and I got chickens on my first 2 throws.... so i got my farm going and now i got over a chest full of eggs and i have been testing again and still no chickens in normal :/ This time i threw 2 dispensers full (144 a dispenser x2 288 eggs a go) and did this 10 times... 2880 eggs and no chicken.. please explain how that is bad luck?

Just a word of warning: in the current version, animals despawn when you get too far away from them. This will be changed in a future update.

it's an intermittent bug.
However, there is a possiblity that your method of collecting, saving, and throwing until you get a result is causing your problem.
Caveat Emptor: The following is based on work that I did YEARS ago on how computers handle random numbers. Things likely have gotten a LOT better. I do not know exactly how MCXBLA's RND generator is coded, nor do I know how it handles being re-seeded. All that being said, the following in entirely possible.
It is possible that MCXBLA saves the current RND seed as part of the world state. I don't know why it would, but if it does, then the outcome of your experiment will be predetermined no what how many times you exit without saving and restart because the RND seed that determines the sequence of "chicken/ no chicken" is not changing.
Ergo, based on your description. You collected 13 eggs. Based on the current state of the RND generator seed, those 13 eggs are predetermined to be failures. (note: about a 17% probability). You save, freezing the RND seed until the next event that causes it to reset. You throw the eggs and get no chickens. You exit without saving, reload the world, including the RND seed that that determined the 13 failed throws and get the same result as before because you started form the exact same starting point.
(History) I investigated the manner in which the C64 RND generator worked. After consulting quite a bit of documentation, I discovered that the seed for the built-in RND generator was determined by sample the line voltage entering the computer during start-up and that there was no way to force a seed update after that. Using this information, I created a nice program that ran about a million rnd calls and graphed them on the screen as random points. After the run, I would document the state of the screen with a Polaroid. Without turning the computer off, I then re-ran the program a couple dozen times. The screen looked exactly the same after each run.
@Refvik : I had that issue, but you got to keep trying. Those 'invincible' Big Slimes CAN be hit. You gotta aim at the floor and get REALLY close to them, but the CAN be hit. I've also found that if a Slime is hard to hit, it probably won't slit up, it just dies. Disappointing after trying to hard to hit those 'invincible' Slimes.
I was going to post the invincible Slime thing, but he already did. On another Slime note, I've had an invisible Slime spawn on peaceful. I know it was there because of its shadow. It was a small one. I assume it was despawning, as all mobs due on peaceful, but it took a while.
As far as the split screen Crafting Table bug, it happens when two or more people are trying to craft. When one person can't craft something, then the game thinks no one can. Try backing out and going in to fix it, or just wait. But yes, this happens to me.
One comment I'd like to post: Easy mode seems to spawn WAY more enemy mobs than hard, and those Skeletons are DEADLY accurate with their arrows. It's impossible to avoid damage from Skeletons, even on easy. Also, enemies spawn during the day, albeit in shadows and what not, but during the day there shouldn't be any enemies, right? Also, Spiders that spawn in a shadow during the day will attack you, a lot. Spiders might just attack you anyway, if they feel like it. The enemies during the day are a bit out of control. It might not be a bug, but I'd like to see it fixed, unless this is just the way it is.
When playing with Guest accounts, if a guest leaves the game will probably say 'error reading your profile' and return you to the title screen. This is prevented by creating local accounts, but if playing online and you don't have enough GOLD accounts, you are out of luck.
I have experienced a game freeze while auto saving and enemies are near, or attacking, but only once. My little brother had a Skeleton, my little sister had a creeper, and the game auto saved. They were mashing the Right Trigger to attack the enemies once the game loaded, but it froze after saving was complete. I guess it didn't really freeze, it just stayed on the scrolling screen, with no text. We could hear the enemies and the swinging of swords, but nothing was happening. Upon restart everything was fine, but I think we got lucky.
If you have double doors in your house, mobs will eat you. Simple as that, and rather disappointing. I've tested this with several worlds/houses. Double doors WILL result in mobs getting in your house. If you have problems with mobs attacking you in your sleep, and you have double doors, fix that first.
Love the game, especially on Xbox. I like it better than on PC. I know, what's wrong with me, right? I don't know.
Slimes dont despawn when switched to peaceful like other hostile mobs, there are invincible slimes which cannot be hit (bugged ones)
Also bugged ones that dont split even when killing them with just bare hands.
The spawning rules for easy/medium/hard are the same no increase/decrease depending on difficulty.
Skeletons cycle to their right when in attack mode, counter that by going the opposite direction.
Spiders become hostile in a certain light level so it could be day but they may be in a dark area (under a tree) which would turn them hostile.
The mobs in your house is a well known bug quite a few fixes for it, including the remove double doors posted by 4J Steve, they are still working on it I presume
Those bugged ones that can't be hit and just disappear, you can hit those. You just gotta try REALLY hard and carefully, and aim at their center, towards the ground. I assumed that those slimes were normal. I thought that sometimes they don't split, like sometimes mobs don't drop items, but yeah, you can hit em.
