Thanks for replying. Do you know if this is updated in the 1.8.2 update?
I actually do not it will either be in that update or the next, considering i haven't seen it listed anywhere under the 1.8.2 update list I'm guessing it was added in a patch not a large updateAnother glitch i have just run into is that slime are spawning on peaceful, I'm not sure how i could prove this through screen shots though...

Slimes dont spawn on peaceful however they do not despawn like other hostile mobs upon switching difficulties from easy+ to peaceful. So they spawned on a difficulty higher than peaceful and remained there when switched to peaceful
I encountered another bug today, not sure if it's been addressed yet. When swimming underwater, there was a weird texture occurring that almost completely obstructed view. This went away after diving down 4 or more blocks, and is worse right below the surface. It's not a game-breaker, but is very annoying. You can't make out anything unless it's right in front of you.
I agree with you. It seems rather "buggy" to me too. The existence of a shadow in that area makes no sense in the first place. Then, just the placing of one block (as was done in the second picture) should not have made a true shadow disappear the way it did.
When accepting a game invite from the Xbox 360 dashboard, it will say this is a trial version of the game and that you need to buy it. It will be fixed when accepting the invite anywhere other than the dashboard.
Our son just bought Minecraft and started a world at his house and stored it on the cloud. He came over to our hose and we spent 4 hrs building and mining on his world, saved it to the cloud. He went to his house and tried to load his world but it said it was still "pending upload". Says the same thing today. Is this a known "bug" or did we not do something correctly?

Sounds like a synchronization issue. Are both xbox's online and connected to Live? I dont know exactly how the cloud storage works on xbox but as a guess, either your Xbox has flagged the storage saying I have changes and then hasn't finished uploading them for some reason, or his Xbox is trying to download them and is not finishing. My guess is that your Xbox hasn't finished uploading his save to the cloud--did he sign off or turn off the box soon after saving? I also don't know if he still has to be signed in for the changes to synch or if it will do it no matter who is on the Xbox--my hunch is it will only do it while he is signed in. Try leaving your Xbox on and signed in as you or someone else for a few minutes (five should be more then enough). If that still doesn't work, try signing in specifically as him and waiting again. ( don't have minecraft open, it shouldnt be needed to synch the cloud storage and it might cause the Xbox to hold off on synching until it exits). There might be a way to 'force' the synchronization but I'm not aware of what that might be.
First off, I did not read through the whole thread but just a few pages and could not find this bug.
But today a buddy and I were in the nether building a house of sorts for protection from the ghast.
I had the idea to go one block deep, set the bed down and then I accidently hit the bed with the left trigger and it caused a large explosion, 5x5 I would guess.
I had set the bed directly on netherrack instead of replacing with a stone floor. Is that my issue or did we find a new bug? This happened multiple times as well, repeated attempts resulted in the same outcome, death by explosion.

No matter what happens, beds will explode in the nether, even if they are not standing on nether rack.
sometimes when I'm crouching over lava, I'll catch on fire. This doesn't happen on the pc version (Nor did it in 1.7.3 to my knowledge) so I'm assuming it's a bug.
this can happen if your standing on soul sand because it is ever so slightly lower than other blocks, making you actually standing at the same level as lava instead of slightly above it, since lava is also ever so slightly lower than other blocks. if you are standing on regular blocks such as cobblestone or dirt then this may be a bug but if its soul sand, this is why its happening.

Pistons, when activated with a continuous pulse, will stay retracted if it cannot extend, even if the block preventing it from extending is moved. Say a piston is extending towards another piston, blocking it from extending. If that piston is retracted and the other one already has redstone powering it, the other piston will not extend.
ok heres the most annoying bug yet to me
you cant trap animals
ive tried and tried but wolfs.....get out
sheep ....get out
cows, chickens, pigs, creepers, zombies you name it they all get out of whatever trap you put them in even if you put them in a trap that if you yourself were in you cant get out they still can get out because ive tried but my sheeps always dissapear and with animal breeding coming up i would hope they fix this so that you can trap animals to get food leather and mostly wool but yeah that bug suck donkey * so yeah plz aware mojang or whoever and tell them that this is a major bug that annoys the crap out of me and im sure others as well.
p.s.ive only tried this on one world but im pretty sure that the others would be the same.
at the moment mobs despawn randomly once you walk 32 blocks away and instantly at 128 blocks distance, in later updates passive mobs (except squid) and non-hostile wolves wont despawn until killed. this was in an update in the general time of animal breeding so you didnt lose the animals you were trying to breed, but in the xbox 360 edition all mobs have the same despawning effects i said above.
Alright here s a glitch that i have found to be really annoying when I place seeds sometimes they just dissapear
like as soon as you place them or a little bit afterward? because this can happen due to having infertile soil, if the tilled dirt looks like the basic dirt color then it is infertile and needs water near it, if it is a darker color it is fertile and has a higher chance to grow, though seeds can still grow on infertile soil it is not as likely. hope this helped.

I am sick of the leader boards being reset, ive lost the proof that i killed a spider jocky, ive also had my block totals reset..... i was up in the 30 throusandth in the world and now im at the bottom...... Just lost a bet with my friends.......

The seeds disappear after 1 or 2 seconds but the soil is tilled and it is irrigated

.
with a creeper trap I a able to trap the creepers like before and they don't vanish . the problem now is you cant get the use the traps any more to harvest the records the creepers explode. some times they destroy the obsidian blocks as well that is not suppose to be possible.
I do get the sheep, pigs and cows trapped they do vanish after a while. was this suppose to be fixed...

Fix that please.
This is the "smooth lighting" that was brought forward from 1.8.

Okay good deal, learned something new today. Now I know beds are a bad idea in the nether. Thanks.
