I have noticed something that isnt that important but very annoying! When playing split screen with someone,if they are using their controller while your holding down a button to craft a lot of something, you have to keep pressing the button! Button does dont repeat!
We seem to be having a Nether issue. The first portal we made was just above the bedrock while mining. When we go through we are underground and cannot find a way out. No matter how far we dig, (up, down, left, right) we run into bedrock. Yes even going up. I don't think this is normal as I've heard there are supposed to be buildings. There appears to be no lava, nothing but the nether version of dirt to mine. Is there a fix to this? Don't really want to start over as the castle we made is awesome.

You made a Nether Portal just above bedrock, you go through and then are you in a room full or Netherrack? The Nether on the sides are made of bedrock, going far underground has Netherrack as well as high. I don't know if its a rare bug but your Nether Portal spawned you into a world of Netherrack and bedrock.

Yes we come through into netherrack, nothing but it. we are on the bedrock, we dig up a looooong way to more bedrock. we can dig the whole length, no matter where we go it is bedrock. I think I may try destroying the portal while in nether and rebuilding it closer to the bedrock that is overhead.

Turns out it was just really bad placement, not as bad as I've heard from others though, lol. we basically were spawned in like the bottom corner of the map. Still doesn't explain why we were unable to reach the surface. Still, we have found a huge cavern now. Will try to dig to the surface in a bit.
I can not get the "When pigs fly" achievement. In a world, I have my saddled pig fenced up in a small area with a four block deep hole. I've ridden it into the hole multiple times in many different ways, but still no "Achievement unlocked!". I hope 4J or Microsoft fixes this. So annoying.
I think the fall has to be longer than four blocks in order to damage the flying pig. One video I saw suggests making the pit about 8 blocks deep. I just got it yesterday by finally cornering a pig and getting it to jump off a cliff about 10 blocks high. Another thing to check would be whether anyone else on your Xbox has already unlocked the achievement. Once a player unlocks them, they don't appear to reset to be able to be awarded to other players on the same system - even if they're just starting out. I'm not sure though if setting up new multiple Xbox Live accounts on one Xbox would make the achievements available to each new Xbox Live profile.
Two things I have noticed which don't appear to be mentioned here.
Firstly, light from lava doesn't travel downwards. I have a huge building which has several floors, and on one of those floors the ceiling is glass with lava on top of it, and it is rather dark in the whole room. Not sure if that's a glitch, or just the way lava is supposed to be.
Secondly, after putting in many many hours of work and building in a seed, a certain section of the seed becomes bugged and I can no longer travel through it. If anyone walks into this section it crashes the game and freezes the xbox. It's probably about a 100x100 section, and it happens when playing either on or offline. This has happened to 2 of 3 maps so far, and it always seems to happen within a pretty close proximity to my house. On the first map I can't even get back to the front of my house.
I do not have backups. And if it has something to do with bad sectors on the hard drive, then the game would freeze even the first time I walk into that area, but the first thing I do with all seeds, is I walk around and fill in the whole map. The game doesn't crash until I've put in a lot of hours on the seed building things.
But then again, I have had similar issues with Skyrim and freezing, so I suppose it always could be my xbox. I just find it weird that if it would be a hard drive problem, it wouldn't start right away, but after about 40 hours or so of gameplay.
Bone Meal can only be combined with white wool, and no coloured wools. It's annoying because when I try to change one of my coloured wools into a white wool instead it takes my bone meal away. This needs to be fixed :/
A map that has had 50 plus players on it now all players inventories are empty and respawn with a map at original spawn if host restarts. If host does not restart game player inventories are intact. No matter what type of saving auto or manual it seems all player data and inventory is no longer being saved. Bug started after 40ith player was added. A friend has the same bug in similar situation.
What is the size of you and your friends overall save file? I have a theory that this issue is related to overall size of the map save. The save stores info on every player that visits your map as well.

If you have your map, what is your "Y" coordinates. Usually, a Nether Portal spawns you at "Y" 100 or above. If its below 60, then you are deep underground. Its probably a bad placement with it and its a bug.
If you place a repeater facing a block & enable it, then remove said repeater the redstone/torch stays activated even though there is no current.
Normal
Bug
I have had the same issues, and it's really frustrating! Especially when you spend hours trying to figure out whats wrong, moving redstone, blocks, pistons, etc.. Then you come to find that it is an bug, and there is nothing (atleast that I know of) that I can do to fix it. I'd like to clarify though, that its not the repeaters that are the problem, it is the torches that seem to stay activated/deactivated even when power is no longer directed towards them. I really hope that this is fixed!
I have a few things that I dont think are supposed to happen, but do and they are kind of annoying.
#1 The leaderboard keeps resetting. I play this game all of the time and mine constatly and was way ahead of all of my friends in mining. I had mined around 50,000 blocks of both dirt and stone and now it says I have mined less than 10,000 of each. This is at least the thrid time this has happend. My cousin who almost never plays this doesnt seem to ever get reset, but I am not sure of my friend who plays a lot. I think he might have, but am unsure.
#2 Tame wolves move around when they are sitting. I keep finding wolves stuck next to chests after I had them sit in the middle of the room. There are only 2 in the room and its pretty large so they have to move a decent amount. Also I can not get a wolf to enter a one door room unless its really deep and the wolf just warps to me.
Both of these are just very annoying at times and not game breaking or anything. Thanks!
One more that I forgot. Boats seem to break really easily. I tried to make a water ride and the boats seem to just keep breaking when they hit anything.

Glad I'm not the only one having this problem. I've lost four(I think. I've lost count) worlds to this ****. My latest one was yesterday. Did your console happen to freeze while in those 2-3 maps before this issue started occurring? It seems that's how this problem started on my worlds.
I'm not sure if this is a glitch, but while playing in multiplayer on the same console, you can't hold "A" while in the crafting menu to quickly make the same item over and over again. There is a work around though. If the person not trying to craft stands still and does absolutely nothing, it will let you hold "A" to quickly craft.

Yeah, my xbox has issues with freezing, it happens once or twice a day it seems. I'm not sure if that's what causes it though, because my xbox has frozen on my newest map, and so far no problems (knock on wood).

no it needs to go over a cliff of some sort, make a ledge of grass next to a large cliff saddle the pig and go over and you will have it.
