Since my first post of July 18th, I have continued to experience happenings with blocks spontaneously either:
A. disappearing [eg. Axes disappearing out of my hands as described in my first post (ETA: These axes have been new or very nearly new at the time of their disappearance. That is, they were not even close to being used up.) In addition, both passive and monster mobs have spontaneously despawned when only a few blocks away from me (ETA: Without my having hit at them at all yet),
B. reappearing after being mined [item A-05 on list], or
C. dropped item not being obtainable after being mined [Item A-08 on list] - ETA: Even though there is ample room in my inventory to collect items.
I'm curious to know whether this may be related to some sort of memory limit (i.e. a full world); although I can't imagine why I would be even close to hitting such a limit after only playing as a single player in this world and for only about a month since first starting to play at all. I have "lost" many items and even deliberately disposed of some in lava to keep the number of items I have stored in chests to items I'm anticipating using in future builds. Also, my builds so far have not been very large or numerous. The largest one I am undertaking is building a 500 m railroad line to obtain the On a Rail achievement.
I have also experienced a similar incident to the one described in Post No. 204 (regarding Steve hitting some sort of invisible barrier accompanied with a great deal of shuddering). My incident of this started after I attempted to drop through a hole into a cave. I had dropped through this particular hole about three times previously with no issues. On this occasion, when I started to mine the stack of sand blocks I had placed by jumping and placing on my previous trip out of the cave, I failed to drop. Instead, I appeared to be shuddering while being stuck in the hole opening. I tried mining away the other blocks around me, but they kept reappearing every time I mined them [Item A-05 on list]. I finally was left with no choice but to exit without saving and start that session over again. That second try, I was able to mine the block I was standing on and drop down block by block through the hole with no issues.
I have also experienced the sensitivities being arbitrarily reset to 0 after pausing the game [Item S-03 on list]. This has not only caused the head controls to appear to freeze up once or twice, but also my HUD to disappear once.
Frame Rate/Lag issues [item S-04 on list] also continue and even appear to be getting worse each time I play the world. (I'm offline, single player).
Ah, hmm, well, that's not the definition of a memory leak. It's a bug, sure, in that the status of the redstone torches is getting screwed up, but a "memory leak" is something totally different. The most common symptom of a memory leak would be just straight out crashing.
The game never pauses. Even if you pause the game, everything is still moving.
That's normal when you are playing an online game with friends. Do you have the "Online Game" box checked? Leave it checked if you want to play with friends or you can uncheck the "Online Game" box if you want to play by yourself or on splitscreen mode.
When using redstone, with pistons you can't create a bud switch by powering a block diagonally. This makes it very difficult to emmulate some of the redstone designs on the computer. Plus, I can't create a smart cobblestone generator with out bud switchs. This may be caused with a slight change in coding between the computer and the xbox.

The redstone is coming, you just have to find it now. Redstone Glory
Also, while cheaters aren't a bug specifically, it would
great if 4j or Microsoft could somehow boot the top 50 people off the leaderboard for cheating...
50?!? More like 500, my friend.

Is it a chicken or is it a duck? - It's a chuck, because dicken sounds stupid.
Is the glass-causing-shadows since the update classified as a bug, or as a highly disagreeable feature?
Had my first piston freeze tonight, made a hidden staircase with my own highly trial-and-error design. When I had a eureka moment and tried a setup I felt confident might work, the 360 locked up.
After a reset though, and some more mucking about, I got the contraption working and no further lock ups occurred. I previously built a piston portcullis from a tutorial and encountered no serious issues from its operation.
The shadows being caused by glass is a bug that was also present in the Java version 1.8.2. This will be fixed in with a future update (Can't remember the exact update this changes in)

If you play offline by yourself, the game never pauses.
You have to make sure Online game is unchecked even when you are on your own (Always checked by default).

You mentioned that when you load a save on the pc version it doesn't do the same.
This needs to be tested using the PC 1.7.3 and only only a server (Our game runs on a constant server).

According to one of my siblings (we play the same xbox 360), there was one time where blocks disappeared to the point where you could see various lava pits (assumed to be at or near bedrock level) from above ground.
Bug A-15 is not fixed, though it says it is. Whenever selecting a line on signs that is not the first line, the selection sound continues to play.
I've marked it as fixed to show we are aware of the issue and have fixed it (For the upcoming bug fix)

If the bug that causes worlds to not open gets fixed, are the worlds that were afflicted going to become available again, or are they basically lost? I personally have started and gotten pretty far in my new world since the other had said issues, but I'd still like to go back if possible.
I'm glad about the glass shadow fix being in the works.. I use glass a lot, and I have a fairly large underwater/ underground project, and the glass lighting qualities could make a huge difference once it's finished... I firmly believe the fix'll be out well before that though. The only issue right now is glowstone and JoLs lighting a little weirdly.

The worlds should be fixed if worlds won't open but if the save file is corrupt, it is forever lost.
Don't know if that's intended behaviour or a bug, but I consider it the latter: If you attack yourself by shooting an arrow straight into the air and "catching" it, any nearby tamed wolf will go bananas and attack until it kills you or you kill it.
It's kind of logical since dogs are supposed to attack any creature that attacks their owner, but suicide by pet dog is probably not intended. At least I hope it's not.

I think its intended. A wolf attacks any mob that attacks you can technically you are a mob so if you attack yourself, your dogs have no choice.
Edit: Its a bug but personally, I think this shouldn't be fixed. It makes perfect sense that if you attack yourself, your wolf will attack you.
Edit 2: Im a retard

Yeah, I've heard the "corrupt" word go around as a possibility. It'd realllly suck to have to get rid of it but I'll be able to move on fine, so long as it doesn't happen again >.>..
