cobblestone generator are useless unless you want limitless cobblestone from your house but im here today to explain how cobblestone generators work.

step1. dig a 4x1 hole in the ground.

step2. dig one block down one block away from one of the ends.

step3.place water so that it will flow into the hole and stop(to know you've done it right there should be two empty spaces in front of the water).

step4. place lava on the other end.

the lava should move over and come to contact with the water creating cobblestone.

once mined the lava will repeat this process and continue to make cobblestone as you mine it.
