My friend an I made a self rising bridge.
When we turned it on. It only gets powered half way.
So we came up with a way to power the whole thing
The problem is it turns on just fine but it won't turn off
The lever is the source of power so you would think that they all would shut off. But instead it has self sustaining power. So Is this a glitch or is there some way around this?
Because a separate power source is powering it.(redstone torch, etc) use repeaters to extend the powef

Religion, has actually convinced people, that there's an invisible man, living in the sky, who watches everything you do every minute of the day, and the invisible man has a special list. Of 10 things he doesn't want you to do. And if you do ANY of these ten things he has a special place, full of fire, and smoke, and burning, and torture, and will send you there to suffer and choke and scream for all of eternity... But he still loves you.
I think what's happening is that you added added a repeater to extend the reach of the power, but that repeater is feeding back on itself. If a repeater is fed back to itself and then powered it will stay on forever, IIRC. You should remove the redstone that is connecting back to the input side of that repeater.
Why are you using so many repeaters? Wouldn't just a line of redstone connecting the pistons be enough, with a single repeater halfway down to extend the reach?

You cannot have redstone connecting to pistons like that... Having, redstone, repeater, redstone, repeater, etc, will make the pistons work

The pics in Syrzan's posts seem to disagree with you?
He is correct, it does not work like that AT ALL for the Xbox version. I have tried it numerous times and many different ways, only wire + repeater + wire works.
I know I had issues where somehow a Piston was receiving power when it shouldn't have been, and honestly, I never figured out some of the problems I had, but usually it was due to an extended piston receiving power accidentally. However, my guess is that adding that repeater partway through to make sure the charge reaches the pistons at the end is looping the charge.

You can't post pictures without having over a certain number of posts. Don't give the poor guy grief.
