Has anyone else tried using the phrases on the main menu as seeds? I have used 2 so far and they both came up with very interesting maps. No report on dungeons, just surface exploring as of now. The first one had a very large snow biome to the south with lots of frozen water in between the islands. Both levels have lava on the surface, pumpkins, clay and other variation in biomes and plenty of open resources.
I am new to minecraft too and tried some of those. Run a google search of version 1.6 seeds for the PC and most of these can be found with descriptions.
I tried "this text is hard to read"
After that really long menu phrase, thats very small.
The seed is awesome =3
There's an huge forest, with plains on one side (which has a small village) and a snow forest on another side. There's a few caves, which are all odd.
World generation is all random, no seed name means anything at all, if you type in hilly and it is a hilly map that is purely coincidence.
true, but using the words just converts the numbers into a hexicedimal format, which can create some interesting ones... My fav map of all time was an old 1.8.2 map, made with the title screen phrase This is my true form!
