thats not a good idea to use. the quality of audio and of video are never very good with a camera or camcorder of any sort. I use an hd pvr but other capture cards work. the majority of gamers on youtube HATE when people record using a camcorder or webcam, mostly because it is hard to record without background noise, and it is often very shaky. The quality is a lot better with a capture card and the cheapest ones are normally around $30
Use a HD PVR and also can stream to my twitch channel as well with this in a pretty simple way. Bit costly but effective and capture is a high quality compared to stream.

I love it. very easy to use and great quality. Another option that gives you better quality would be the Black Magic. It is more expensive and a little more resource hungry but it has very good quality.
The capture cards are what most successful YT channels use. That should tell you something...

I use the Happauge HD PVR Gamer Edition. I think it is great. Like I said if you want even better quality than that and have the extra money to kick at it, I would go with the Black Magic. Couple of people on our channel have used the Avermedia, Roxio and a few others and thought they were "O.K.". But I'd go with either the Happauge or the BM. Just my recommendation.
