well i mean all you have to do is find 1 slime and then duplicate it. i dont think its as severe or evil as duping diamonds i mean they are just slimes. and if you cant even find one single slime then well i really dont know.

Still, there's no sanctuary of satisfaction duplicating. Some people do it to get the feel of creative mode, some avoid it to grasp the actual survival aspect of the game; the way it's meant to be. It's all about what your intentions are.
But if you're legit slime hunting, getting your first slime and get a few slimeballs out of it makes you want to keep at it, because now you know it's not impossible. Hard, yes; but that's the challenge we need.

I don't think you can really qualify using the duplication glitch as either evil or not. It is something that was not meant to be in the game and is being exploited by some players. Should you do it? Probably not as it alters the way the game was intended to be played and has the potential to corrupt save game files. Are you evil for doing it (or less evil for duping something other than diamond)? I would say no.

How would duplicating help exactly? People are having trouble finding slimes at all. Once they find them, they have more slimeballs than they can deal with. Before that, they have to find them. Duplicating does not solve the problem people are having, which is finding slimes to kill in the first place.

What about those of us who don't want to duplicate and do everything legit?
i know but too many people are having alot of problems getting slimes. i just wanted to give those people having trouble the idea of duplicating. i know i agree with you, i find and create all my things legit but this whole "can't find slimes" thing is ruining the fun of sticking pistons for alot of people

Like I said, duping wouldn't help. You have to find the slimes first and that is what people are having a problem with.
Once they find where slimes spawn, they'll have infinite slimeballs.
