Does anyone know if with this last update do animals still despawn and if they do does anyone know when that will be fixed?
Why does everyone always say something needs to be fixed when it's working exactly how the game was made to work?
I can't remember exactly but it'll either be changed to the new spawning/despawning rules of the PC in the 1.8.2 update or the 1.2.3. I'm not sure which but it comes in one of those.
I don't see despawning as a factor. Use the animal for it's resources and move on. The only time it would really apply is for eggs. Chasing chickens for 5 minutes can be a pain if you need the eggs.
The Animal Spawning changes with 1.9. which is when Animal Husbandry gets introduced. Animals will then be Limited but renewable resources.
Nope...animal despawning is changed in the first PC adventure update so 1.8 or for us it will be 1.8.2, and the animal loving and producing offspring is in 1.9, and that is when you can make them follow you and breed them. When the 1.8.2 update hits you can herd, not make them follow you, but at least make it look like you have a working farm, and they won't despawn.
