Minecraft:Xbox Edition Special Rewards
__________________________________________________________________________________ I'm sure most of you know that for "Minecraft:PC" there are special in game rewards for certain people in the form of the "Minecraft Capes" which are given away under special circumstances like the attendees of "Minecon" have gotten a cape, now I think it would be cool to see something similar to this type of reward system on the Xbox but instead of capes (because im not entirely sure if capes are possible on the Xbox Edition) it would be custom skin[s] for certain a person[s] and 4J could have the person[s] design there own skin[s] (Nothing explicit or taking a certain Ip character as to follow the rules of Microsoft) and they would be the only one who have access to use it and they would receive it via a Xbox Redeemable Code or having the skin tied to a specific Gamertag[s] (But this would most likely require a update). I just think it would be cool to be able to have something you could call yours in Minecraft:Xbox Edition and could be a cool way to have little community contests such as a in game project or out of game project.
These were just ideas of mine I have had for awhile, tell me what you think, would you like to see something like this implemented to give something more special to the Xbox Edition and to have people work to gain something(Cosmetic) in game?

It's the best way so far of seeing your own skin in game. I like it, just need to think of a way you could 'win' as to say
Yeah just kinda like the contest they occasionally hold on here. Like the one where they were giving Mc:XE codes away to people who created Xbox themed things in the PC version.

good idea but frankly we should just be able to make our own skins anyway but that will probably never happen (sadface)

Yeah I don't see them releasing the ability to make your own skins any time in the near future because if hey release it then people don't have to buy the skin packs and could just make there own thus the skins packs would be redundant to have, but I actually like the skin packs because they are really cheap 160msp($2.00) and comes with alot of skins.

yes clearly u did not actually read my post i said BUT FRANKLY we should just be able to make our own skin next time actually read **** correctly before you post something it just makes you look like an idiot
Maby they could do an empty skin pack that cost the same that you get to edit... like a whole bunch of mannequin-like skins that you create the shirt, pants, head, feet, and hands

we will have a skin editor but first we will have all of the skin packs so that should be atleast 500,000 Microsoft points they make off of that then after we have skin editor which will probably be 1200 Microsoft points so by the time everything for skins is released they should have a couple million Microsoft points

Well that does show that capes could be possible but I think your Minecraft might had De-Updated because you said you had pistons in your world yet the Cobble Stone texture is the old one and while you were stating you game there was only two options and it didnt show you seed when you loaded it up.
I think you should be able to hook up your minecraft pc acount to the xbox360 edition and have the skin your pc character does. i also think you should get a cape on the pc version that is somehow related to the xbox version but you shouldent just get it for buying xbox360 edition there should be like say one weekend if you do something special on the game you are rewarded with a code that you type in somewhere on minecraft.net that gives you the cape.and the cape from the 360 edition would not be something very elaborate just something like
a mob face or something.

Im sure they thought of that and were unable to so probably due to a few reasons.
1.They do need to micro-transactions somehow because it is on Xbox an those would be Skins,TexturePacks,and probably the Adventure/End update to allow more achievements..
