What's your opinions on the new skins?

For me personally I'm not digging them too much, most of them were pretty ugly. This is just my own opinion on the new skins though and the first skin pack so we have much more to see in the future:) And for this pack I shall definitely use the Locust Drone

Creeper is my trolling skin. Gears is my youaretottaly****edmobsandorotherdude skin. And Grunty is my ***** PLEASE skin, proving that Grunts Rule!Noticed I didn't exactly answer the question, I love them all really.

Out of them i think most of them came out good jack of blades was my favorite out of them though only one that i thought looked a bit weird was the brute skin since before they released the info names for the skin everyone thought it was a elite =P

I give it a solid 8/10. They're not amazing, but I am happy I bought it. Creeper, Zombie, Herobrine, and Trials HD characters were enough for me to think it was worth it.

Forgive me for off topic chatter but the post in your signature made me think of something.
Since herobrine doesn't exist in the coding but he is now in the game as a skin doesn't that mean "Technically" he is in the coding but as a player skin?

LOVE Master Chief, as I am a (non-douchey) Halo fanboy! I loved the MC themed ones, trials ones, GoW themed ones, albeit 'splosion man and B-K looked REALLY derpy (not in a good way)

Yeah hopefully it will lol. halo has something like herobrine except they just call them ghost's xP atleast that died down now this will too.

Haha xD I thought the brute skin was the worst of them all! Dx I mean when they first released his appearance in that halo pic people couldn't tell if it was a brute or elite, it was just that bad....lol:(

Yeah a shame though .-. im hoping that skin pack 2 or 4 might have something else not sure what im expecting to be made a skin though maybe a dark brotherhood skin from skyrim maybe, But im sure the next pack will have rather interesting skins and what-not.

Edit: actually it might be cool [atleast to me] if they make a silent hill skin pack would be epic to have a Vincent skin =P lol.

Agreed, well im sure if someone asks on their twitter they might, they'd just need to get the [can't remember what its called] right's for the character to be made as a skin.

I believe that one guy [4Jsteve i think] said that the reason they dont have that is because of the potential copy-right issues since it would be 4J studios name on the line if someone made a skin that was "inappropriate" or a copyrighted character. Wish they would could make one though.

Didn't 4J say something about that it might be done in a later stage?

They might, i saw them talking about it one time on their twitter but i think it was about ways to prevent lawsuits from other companies, i know the argument about "pc minecraft" getting the ability to have their own skins doesn't really work since most are made with 3rd party programs, i dunno maybe if they put something stating their not liable for what people create they might be able to make one.

Herobrine was worth every penny.

I liked most of the new skins, not as high quality as I've seen on the PC versions but still fun to use for a different look. My favorite out of this pack have to be Herobrine and Jack of Blades, although the most visually appealing and best done I think are Banjo and Master Chief.

They said on twitter that a skin editor could possibly happen but much later on :/ The issues are dealing with lawsuits, but I see your point on how players can still make offensive things already:/

I like them for the most part, some of them look really sloppy though like the Brute and Clay Carmine. The standouts for me are Master Chief and the Grunt. I hope they add some Star Wars characters in the next skin pack...

I could make better. If they continue to develop them in-house and don't let the community at any future packs, then they don't understand the true meaning of Minecraft.
