So, since I'm feeling pretty ashamed of not playing much MCXBLA since release, I thought maybe I could ask you guys, about how many hours have you played so far, in all of your worlds combined? Also, if there are any tips on getting back into the habit of playing Minecraft nonstop.

Don't do that, the whole point is to learn how these things work, and pistons are a lot simpler than they seem. If you want to stop copying tutorials and learn to build your own original creations, add me on XBL. Perfect timing, as I'm about to start working on my new and improved adder from scratch. (Now with next-level piston placing techniques!)
As for hours, no clue. I'm usually addicted for a bit, then don't play it at all for a week or so. Like just recently, I kinda ragequit when my save file got corrupted. It's different when I'm doing a major project though, then I usually go on an MC binge until it's done. Then afterwards I'm pretty burnt out.
hmm i probably play more than any of you. For the last 6 weeks i have been playing for about 20 hrs a day if not more when on my meds. So try and beat that and then add all the hrs up. also hosting a rpg server soon hat will be 24/7 .

Once 1.8 comes out we'll have plenty to do.
But that's still some time away from now. In the meantime we have pistons to mess with.
i don't even know how to use pistons because i'm dumb.
I just look up videos and copy what they did.
