hey guys-
ive invested lots and lots of time into my world created from the seed "gargamel". My worry is that when the xbox version eventually is updated to the point that the worlds are infinite, will the seed worlds such as mine also regenerate infinitely, or should i just start a new randomly generated world now before i put more work into my world?

Your question is kind of confusing. Especially since you assume that the Xbox 360 Edition is going to get the seemingly "infinite" worlds of the PC.
I'm not really sure how to answer you honestly. The one thing I can say is that the seed gargamel, after the 1.8.2 update, will no longer generate the same map as the world generation code will change in 1.8.2.
If you are asking if the Xbox gets the seemingly "infinite" world generation of the PC then will your current world be added onto, then maybe, but nobody knows.
