So I've been having this problem since the 1.7.3 update came out and when I log into my world on xbox everything I had in my inventory dissapears and I spawn in the spawn point with an unexplored map (i've already explored my whole map) :/ is there any fix to this? because I haven't been able to find one... Someone please help me!
Something that might work is to clear your system cache and reinstall the update. I had that problem before the first update, but haven't had it since.
After a month of play, this happened to me as well. Crate your stuff is the only workaround I know of. Let us know if clearing you cache helps. Does this delete your saved games? Here again, is where I just don't understand why 4j didn't fix this annoying bug before putting out pistons. I would rather the bugs be fixed first.
Well, I've tried clearing my cache AND then reinstalling the game. No dice. If I play in another world, where the bug has not struck, no problem...yet (These are simply generated, unsettled land). Other people's games, no problem. Some players that join my world also are affected by this bug. On a good note, lots of free maps! *sigh*

Edit: your cache is temp memory not hard drive space per say....Kinda like your browser remembering a password or what sites you visit.
I tried clearing the cache and it didn't fix it, I will try deleting the game and reinstalling it too. Hopefully that helps
