im new here and i had a question about slimes. Well not a question but i was wondering if this big space is what slimes would spawn in. Its almost 50x50 and its 4 high and 2-3 levels above bedrock. Am i doing something wrong or am i just unlucky
Also, Slimes cant spawn on a block with a torch on it. try placing the blocks in the ceiling, or on the walls. Im not sure if that was just for the pictures sake, or if you always have the torches like that. but that could very well be your problem. That is, if you are actually on a slime chunk.
I would sugggest using glowstone in the floor, but im not sure if slimes can spawn on glowstone or not. someone else could varify that for me.

It looks like you just randomly chose a spot and dug out that whole room. You have to use the slime finder app to get the right slime chunks. The app is posted in the link.
