I'm sick of massive typos and 5 post newbies posting general posts like they've been here forever. There's four threads just like this one.
I agree, there's more wine then cheese
But these posts... man.

OP: Punctuation helps other people take you seriously.
Cool, now we can complain about you!! Just kidding but, yeah there is always something to ***** about. Even when people get what they want it sucks...... Say What ONE more time.!!! I dare you...
Religion, has actually convinced people, that there's an invisible man, living in the sky, who watches everything you do every minute of the day, and the invisible man has a special list. Of 10 things he doesn't want you to do. And if you do ANY of these ten things he has a special place, full of fire, and smoke, and burning, and torture, and will send you there to suffer and choke and scream for all of eternity... But he still loves you.

Complaining is one of the things that gamers do best. The community has, for some reason, developed this weird attitude where they take things personally if a game doesn't come out exactly like they thought it would. Just telling people to stop does nothing but make you look like the fool. It's better to just ignore it and do something positive instead.
Why not make a thread about a fun subject? Or maybe only post in threads that aren't complaining about the game?

Keep in mind, though, that complaints can actually be a good thing for a game sometimes. If there is a complaint that has a large enough backing, it has the potential to change the game and put it more in tune with what the consumer demands. Isn't that essentially what the studios and producers (ideally) want to do? Make a product that the consumer really wants? That being said, I am the first to admit that not all, in fact, most complaints are insignificant or poorly justified.

If you see a post that you feel is helpful, please give it a +1. While it may not mean much, the thought and encouragement is generally appreciated.

Agreed. If it might hit them in their pocketbooks, perhaps they will listen. I wish more companies (some actually do) would listen to the community.

Construtive complaining is good. It's led to the Xbox version getting coordinates, and many other fancy options that weren't available from the get go. However, getting on the forums, making a thread just to rant about something that may not be working correctly instead of trying to find a solution or direct feedback to 4J, doesn't help. There are many of those types of posts.

Well 4J definitely listens to the community. People are just "gimme gimme gimme" and want everything right away. They have to learn that these bugs and glitches don't happen to everyone and that makes it hard for 4J to narrow down the causes.
I think this one does. They've added little things here and there suggested by the community, and have responded to sane, polite requests in these very forums, which btw are not run by the company.
Post fun subjects? Man, some have. But they keep get pushed down by newbies, trolls and this very post which has been repeated four times by my count. I give rep to those that bring more to the table then the latest gripe, supposed bug, annoyance, or the latest defender of the crown. If there's an issue I want to know. But just once will do.
I first came here looking for advice. Read and found it.
Never asked, Cause about 1/4 of the million or so who have playing this game already had. There's a entire generation of players of this game that came before us. Folks seem to forget that. So I read, watch vids and read more. Now, I post. I pray to the digital gods some of it either useful or mildly entertaining. (In truth I'm stalling on my next build)
There's some real issues. Bugs, glitches, great suggestions. We need praise and condemnation. Sharing information is why we are all here.
Dev and gamer.
But most all, balance.
Read, post, respond. But don't blindly react.. Forget what other FPS programing us to be.

Edit: dgr nail on the head, but its a fine line between rage mode childish crap and valid complaints. Also known as constructive criticism.
PS: Adding a question at the end of your rage post dose not validate the fact you made a rage post.Just food for thoght.
