I witnessed my first major lightning storm on my server last night. I have a 3 dimensional creeper made out of wool and I'm wondering if this could be set on fire by the lightning strikes. The lightning sets grass on fire so is there a chance that my creeper will be burnt down?
Religion, has actually convinced people, that there's an invisible man, living in the sky, who watches everything you do every minute of the day, and the invisible man has a special list. Of 10 things he doesn't want you to do. And if you do ANY of these ten things he has a special place, full of fire, and smoke, and burning, and torture, and will send you there to suffer and choke and scream for all of eternity... But he still loves you.
in my server my first real lightning storm was cool but a close call. lightning struck as close as 10 blocks of me nearly 7 times. after that i replaced my wood roof with cobble
You guys do know that if lighting catches something on fire during a storm, the rain immediately puts the fire out right? The only two time you'd need to worry about fires from lightning is if it hits somewhere rain can't reach, or if it stop raining immediately after the lightning makes a fire.

Retired StaffPlus, you can always rebuild whatever is lost.
On Topic: I always avoid using wool in my buildings, as I'm paranoid I'll come up from mining one day and my house will be burning down. <:(
