If you have a hard drive, it will automatically download to the hard drive. If that happens, you cannot transfer it. But I have not had an xbox 360 with no hard drive, so I haven't tried the usb.

Probably what will happen is you can download it if you have your profile on another XBox, or transfer your account, and the skins to a new XBox.
