hey everyone im looking into another xbox to run minecraft 24/7 open server. is there anyone that would be interested in joining in on this. i figure if i open it to the community there would be some great builds and people will meet new people

that would be awesome but correct me if Im wrong the max size on XBL is currently 8 on a server at one time. It would fill up fast. then you also have that failure rate of the xboxs to worry about. maybe if you took it appart and water cooled it and put it in one of those lian li mod cases it would run for extended periods of time as long as the remote didnt shut itself off. That is the problem I have with my xbox when Im trying to get gun powder for my TNT using a mob grinder. my remote disconnects then the xbox turns off since it "isn't being used" even though a game is playing on it.

yea noworries on over heating or failur. all my xboxes run 24/7 ive never had one crash because liquid cooling is what i do lol. im aiming for next month, im going to make a live account and give it a 3 month live sub. and see how it goes

let me know when you get it running. I would love to be a part of the first "public" server. I do alot of my crafting on my own because most of my friends think minecraft is stupid or they play on the pc.
