Alright, I just started playing minecraft about 2 weeks ago on the Xbox 360. I've never played the PC version.
So I paid for a $20 Microsoft point card, and spent it all on this game. I have about 10 people that play on and off on my server. They aren't all online at once of course. So, we have a lava pit for new players to spawn in so that I can keep my game open to all people, and friends CAN join without an invite. Any new players can't join unless they are released from the lava pit. But a bug just started happening. Every time I restart the server, the game treats me as a new player, gives me a map ect.
Now I'm stuck in this lava pit for no reason.. I should spawn where I last logged out at. But it was okay for a little bit. My friends were still logging in, and being where they last logged out, they would just help me out of the lava pit. But now they are having the problem too. Spawn with no items, just a map. Now every single person that has played on my server, they all get treated as new players at every server restart. Now we can't get out of the lava pit, and we can't play this server any more.
How can this be fixed? Why was a bug as serious as this, not fixed before the release?
Another issue, the game freezing. All the people I play minecraft 360 with, have all told me that Minecraft 360 has frozen once or twice on their console. Again, another major bug. My minecraft froze today as a matter of fact. We lost quite a bit of progress. That's the time when we restarted the server to find out, WE ARE ALL IN THE LAVA PIT. With no one to let us out. RIP server (which had so much time spent working on)
