So you have to pay to have Skins? I mean I know its only 160 msp and not a neccesity, but PC gets it free? I only play on the PC now and don't know why I bought it on xbox there's just a huge gap.
160 msp you say? I haven't checked them out yet. Is that $2 PER skin or for the entire skin pack? Either way for an ingame item that's cheap compared to what it would cost in most other games on Xbox.

I just feel, IDK. I know they can't release a free type DLC, however they could've just added that as an update to the game, a skin selector.
I also have no problem paying for the skins because I'm about 75% sure that paid DLC is what is keep the updates free. I pay for DLC on every other game I own. Minecraft is no different,

It costs 160 microsoft points for the whole skin pack which includes 40+ skins.

OH NOE!!! You have to PAY for LICENSED Skins!!!!!!!!!!1 That is such Blasphemy!!!!!!! considering All those Free skins you download on PC are technically against Copyright's for all those characters unless its a 100% ORIGINAL skin .

Mojang has never given you anything for free except for updates to the game itself. And Mojang only gives you the basic game- no extras. People keep forgetting those little details.
It's the community (third-parties) that have given away their hard labor for free (and it's not all free). They have spoiled you, not Mojang. Mojang and 4J are businesses with bills to pay.

Everything is free? What does that include? Mods and skins and texture packs are not provided by Mojang. Mojang charged you for Minecraft, and that's the only "official" thing available right now. Don't forget that those mods and skins and texture packs are made by everyone else (community). That type of thing doesn't exist on consoles and isn't even allowed by Microsoft. Any game modifications (expansions, DLC, etc) have to be provided by the developer, who, of course, are going to charge you for the labor they put into making something.
