Maybe in a future update for Minecraft there could be a max player update ?

I often find myself in a party of more than 8 people who want to play in my game and one unlucky person can not join the game maybe a 16 or 12 player ability? If there adding more skins to Minecraft then this idea might work because then there wont be repeats of characters ? Let me here what your opinion is of maybe them adding extra player slots?

i know what you mean ! player constantly lag out of my game and my host is amazing ! and if other people host i cant break blocks -.- i agree fix lag then that could be a idea

I think someone from 4J said something back before the released the game about increasing it to 16 some time in the future, but i'm not exactly sure if that's what they said.

But I do agree that having more people would nice.... it get's a little boring and frustrating only being able to have such a small number of people, especially in an rpg-ish server.

i agree i found a way for a economy server using paper from sugar cane having jobs and money in place and it still with 8 people isn't that great i do think that 16 players would be a great addition because the more the better i mean as long as they fix lag issues ann it can handle 16 players go for it ! (:
