Do not waste your time making a piston elevator. I made a 25 block elevator that is fully functional, going both up and down, but when you try to ride it you get stuck inside the piston... Major bug. There is nothing you can do to fix it... The Xbox just cant handle the action of riding an elevator...
So take my advice and don't waste 3 hours making a piston elevator like i did, because you cannot ride them without it glitching out.
You can't make fast piston elevators at the moment IMO.
You CAN take a fast piston elevator tutorial for PC and slow it down by adding additional repeaters. I think anyway. Of course it will no longer be a fast piston elevator. That's my next big experiment and I'm not looking forward to it but what other options do we have? Either fully enclose a piston spiral staircase or build huge giant zippers sticking up all over our worlds. Hey dude, your fly is open.

Mine functions flawlessly, but when i get in it i glitch inside the pistons...
yup, only some elevators work. I got one going almost to the clouds and it works great!!
Every now and then you get glitched, but most the time works great!! Would love to show it but needs a very little work left...If i fell like it,lol
Also got a hidden 3x3 wall door and a 100% hidden stairs going down w/ removable leaver for extra hidden.
