Ok. So before the update TNT was able to ignite by just punching it or with Watever you had in your hand. So now after the update where I hit it with anything all it does is break . the only way to ignite it is to set it on fire or hi it with the. (Sorry I cant remeber what its called the thing that makes fire.) So is this supposed to happen or is it because my TNT is duped

I've wanted to blast a giant chunk of earth out and have dug down to bedrock, but the couple times I tried there was lava nearby and I never made it all the way back up before I heard the deadly hissing as lava had set it alight.

This of course blew me sky high lol.
How would you ignite it with lava?
And like I said earlier in the patch notes it said only Flint and steel, and redstone.

If you place it too close to lava, it will catch fire (similar to wood). I don't think it would be practical to ignite TNT with lava on purpose. It's more of an accidental "oh **** all my TNT is on fire" type of thing.

Yeah, I don't see it as practical either.

Also remember if you're going to be doing it the redstone way to put redstone facing the TNT
