I have got a very good question about the Minecraft xbox360 edition!
Will Mojang be adding more achievements???
I would love to know what the answer is and so do alot of other people
I'm a Xbox achievement hunter and I love Minecraft
The PC version of Minecraft has got about 6 achievements more then the Xbox version but I do think they got to add another 20 achievements more to the both games don't ya think?
No they aren't. The limit was increased earlier this year. It can be a max of 800 gamerscore now with 40 achievements I think.
Yes, 4J said more achievements will be coming, but it's Microsoft policy that they must be added via DLC, not Title Updates.

Um just to be clear.... 400/ 800 in NOT a cap. Look at games like pinball FX2 with over 1600. I think they gotta wait like 6 months before adding more though. So maybe the full 1.0 release will have more. just my 2 cents as I want more aswell..
i am guessing 1,8 they will add more .. this 1,7 patch adds very little to the game that you would get the "made a piston" achievement and that's it.
with animal breeding due and stuff probably more due when that comes out. over 300 wolves i want mwahahaha
Did you read the thread? They cannot add achievements with the updates, only with DLC. 1.8.2 will be bringing no achievements. The same goes for 1.2.3.

The UPDATE part is a bummer but, Maybe this means DLC adventure map packs will be available..... Super Hostile XBLA!!! I'd pay for that. 10GS for every wool/block placed in the victory monument. that's an extra 200 for every map!!! Come on Vechs work out a deal Please!!!!!

2. Sadly, no, they won't add any more achievements.They're already at the new limit of gamerscore on Arcade games.
400 isn't the limit, it's not the standard starting point for all Xbox Live Arcade Games. Please read the two articles below. They show that the new rules are that Arcade games can now have a 800 gamerscore, 62 achievement max cap.
