I get that it has a few problems, but I am so glad it was released! Don't b*tch about something if you wouldn't have it at all. Just please, stop with all the post. We get it. The pistons are sh*tty. We don't need a million post!
Pistons are awesome... 99% of people don't even know how to use them. Trust me, I have done so many cools things so far. Screens to come. The reason people think they suck is because they don't know how to use them or what to use them for.
I loved the update, most people don't realize we have to wait till December/2013 for 1.2 to come out after 1.8. They better start complaining now. 1.2 is the biggest update the xbox version will ever have. It has 8+ updates in it.

I've got pockets of dozens of pistons all running at the same time, no lag, no fps drop, nothing.
I've got about 300hundred running and no lag or anything

It's funny how people are complaining that redstone and pistons are messed up. They're not, the "tick" is just different on Minecraft Xbox. How about you experiment and start changing the design a little, or the timers and I bet it works out. It's what I've been doing. The only thing that might not work is something huge, like the lighthouse or something. But really? Who needs that for everyday contraptions using pistons.
