I don't keep up with Minecraft news, so I didn't even know this new update was coming today. I was playing all week long and never had any frame rate problems up until downloading this latest title update.
I restarted a new world over and over several times to see if it would fix anything but it hasn't. Now when I simply walk around the world like normal, the FPS drops to an unplayable stutter.
I'm deleting the game and re-downloading it to see if it makes a difference, but I doubt it will. I hope the devs of MCX360 know about this.
Problem is trying to pin point these issues, I'm still yet to see any frame-rate issues on either the office kit or my two home kits.
I'll keep looking into it.

I have this problem as well. When I play on a world that already existed before patch no problems. I played in my friends world, no problems. I started a fresh world and that's when I had problems with frame rate issues.
Every now and again I get a sizeable lag spike, but other than that and one other eensy teensy thing (posting about it in a minute or so), I'm loving this update so far.
I haven't exactly noticed frame rate drops only weird bug [if it even is a bug] is when you put a torch on the ground under a gravel pile and break the rock below the stack of gravel, the gravel falls on the torch from above instead of the torch breaking all of the gravel breaks.

Vincent: You come here and enjoy spilling their blood…and listening to them cry out! Heather: Are you talking about the monsters? Vincent:Monsters?…They look like monsters to you!?!? Heather: *gasp* Oh no. Vincent: Don’t worry…it’s just a joke.
Good, i thought this was just me at first. I'm getting this too. Started new map, and walking around every 5th step or so i get a little. Not game breaking but it sure is annoying.
Thought I would register and add my two cents since I am seeing this myself after the update. I noticed it happens for me primarily after world generation and while the landscape renders up around me as I travel to explore OR while I am shoveling up dirt and moving along at the same time. It hasn't happened on my older worlds that I've fully explored the surface of. I haven't tried the Nether yet.

Same thing for me, never had issues before update, always been smooth. Started new map with new update and it's a bit choppy when exploring. Not a HUGE issue but still annoying none the less.
same thing is happening to me also.but only in newly created worlds. what xboxs is everyone using? I have an original halo edition one.just wondering if this is only effecting older units.

Anyone else experiencing similar issue?

Slimes are glitching (turning black like they are stuck in something) but they are still hitable,if thats a word, and drop balls.
To me it seems to happen right when it rains on my world and it gets way worse when i spitscreen on HDTV.
