I love it. We'll get an influx of kids using the skin to make I SAW HEROBRINE vids, but after a month or two of being ridiculed and pointing out the skin pack, that oughta die down.

Now I have an interesting experience to tell you about that happened to me today on multiplayer.
I was playing on some guy's world. Nice world, legit and friendly players, good buildings. I was working on a stone/sandstone building on a desert plateau. I kept running out of sand and naturally spent a lot of time digging mre and more sand off of a nearby mountain.
It wasn't until about an hour and almost 1000 pieces of sand and dirt later that I realized that my iron shovel was not being worn down. I'd dug enough sand for 5 or 6 iron shovels, and not only was the shovel not affected, it wasn't even showing a health bar, like it was a feshly made shovel.
A diamond pickaxe and some iron armor I had on, same thing. Their durability never decreased from use/damage.
And the thing is, this infinite-health thing only aplied to tools I had already crafted and had been using before on my first visit to this world. I ended up getting new diamond armor and a sword compliments of the host, and ended up crafting some shears to use, those all wore down normally.
And speaking of damage, everyone on the server didn't take damage from mobs. We were playing on normal, I personally survived 2 point blank creeper explosions and didn't take damage (nor did my armor, as I said). Eventually the host of the world took damage normally, but I was nigh invincible the whole time. Not just from mob damage, but from fire damage and fall damage as well. I didn't care to try and test lava though. Lol.
I'll probably be playing on the server again tomorrow, so I'll be able to see if this is a recurring glitch or just some weird fluke that happened. Has anyone else experienced this?
I've had that glitch happen on my server as well, I usually notice it right away if it happens and try to fix it, I found the only way to completely fix it is to save your game and back out to the dashboard and reload the world.

I seriously doubt it. I mean, I know it's a remote possibility, but I have a good feeling about the people I was playing with. There was nothing unusual about the world besides the infinite health tools, and the only tools that had infinite health were old ones, newly crafted tools didn't get infinite health. Why would they mod it to do that specifically? Seems pointless.

No seriosuly you can mod your tools to never break, along with armor, and swords...
if you mod in any kind of tool, all tools created before that tool become unbreakable.
Would it work on guests if the host did it?
At any rate, I still don't think these particular people did any modding. I've played with modders and dupers before, and it was obvious, because they had no idea what they were doing once they had all their toys. I'm talkin about diamond everything, diamond skyscrapers, diamond cube huts, gold docks, it was tacky beyond belief. These guys were mining things legit, already ha a huge mine established, big slime farms, they were working cooperatiely to build amazing looking houses, these guys weren't clueless players trying to mod or dupe their way to amazingness, they clearly knew what they were doing.
I doubt they modded the game at all, and there's plenty of other people testifying they've had the same thing happen to them. So like I said, I know it's a possibility, but I really doubt it's what was up. I'd be surprised if it was.
