That's the tutorial. Now, I got to the part where he puts the lever on. It worked just fine. Then, I went to pick my girlfriend up from work, came home loaded my game, and now it doesn't work. When I pull the level, the door opens, but when I pull it again, nothing happens. If I go down and replace the first redstone torch, it closes. When I pull the lever it opens again, but then nothing.
I'm about to rip my hair out because it worked fine open and close before I saved and left. When I came back I didn't touch a thing, and now it's broke.
So your using a redstone torch? Im under the impression there is no way to turn that sucker off.. lay those redstone trails again probably a mess up there... why the torch for the piston door?
Well, there's a bunch of torches, and a bunch of repeaters. This is my first piston build, so I really don't know why they're all there, I just followed the tutorial step by step.
Did you happen to watch the youtube vid? It's the very first torch he puts down that's giving me problems.
im pretty certain that is just a bug with the current version, the only thing you can do is rewire it to fill in the position of the torch (if that is possible) because that happened to me when i was making a 3x2 piston door and a XOR gate
There seems to be an issue with redstone in general. I have had a NON CIRCULAR circuit that would have power flow from a button to a repeater. The repeater then would hold the charge and power the whole thing until the repeater was destroyed. This has happened on more than one build. Then you destroy the repeater and put it back, and it works for 4 -5 times and then it sticks back on. REALLY ANNOYING

Yes, that is exactly what happened when I put the buttons on.
I gave up on the lever and switched to a button activation. The button worked flawlessly for 6-7 tries, then it stopped, like you said, the repeater was stuck on. I really wanna cover the mechanism, so I can build walls around it, and actually use it for a door, but it's pointless if it'll break itself every 6-7 button pushes.
