I have an automated sugarcane farm, and it auto-harvests every 5 minutes. The primary part of the circuit is off most of the time. The only time the primary section becomes active is the split second when the pistons activate.
My problem:
When I take my minecart track to an area approximately 200 meters away, and then come back, the pistons are stuck in the extended position, and the entire circuit is lit up. This is IMPOSSIBLE, as the way I have wired the circuit prohibits the primary section from being active for more than a second.
I have to break, then re-complete the circuit to get it working correctly again.
Is this a known bug, and is anyone else experiencing this?
And yes, I will post this in the Bugs thread. I just want to use this thread to get some input from the members of the community regarding this issue.
You are seriously having trouble with the new mechanisms, aren't you?
This is an issue even with the current PC version and it also happened prior to the update. When you move away from the chunk containing your redstone (and/or piston) creations they have a possibility to "jam." This also happens sometimes during save/load.
It's a nasty, nasty annoying thing. Sometimes, depending on the circuit, you can make automatic resets. But that doesn't apply to *all* circuits (at least, I know of no perfect method) and if a piston gets jammed extended - it has to be broken every time.

That makes no sense, what so ever. They made a huge error in the codes if this happens...

Religion, has actually convinced people, that there's an invisible man, living in the sky, who watches everything you do every minute of the day, and the invisible man has a special list. Of 10 things he doesn't want you to do. And if you do ANY of these ten things he has a special place, full of fire, and smoke, and burning, and torture, and will send you there to suffer and choke and scream for all of eternity... But he still loves you.
If they leave and the chunk is no longer loaded then redstone, booster rails and the such stop working. It happened in the previous update as well as was mentioned above.
