even on PC if you have a bunch of pistons running all at the same time it's going to slow your game down. I would suggest waiting for the new light blocks that we got in 1.2 to make a revolving light house. It looks better and wont slow down the game.

Even the pic is laggy,lol There are no black box's in the middle of the light...
Xbox =/= PC The Xbox is significantly weaker than a good PC. If they have trouble with lag, we're going to as well.
Yeah. Of all the redstone contraptions I have made, it seems to be the lighthouses that cause the most lag.
Instead of having two layers of moving lights, have one layer with gravel or sand on top. This might help with the lag.
Try slowing down how fast the lighthouse is. that should also help.
