Have you exited the world and came back in? Before the bug fix I had issues with the light not updating properly at the edges of the map, but I haven't had any recent issues.

yeah i did i figured out they are still giving off light but they are not lit, they look more grey then their usual yellow orane
Hmm that is odd, are they existing blocks pre-update, or new blocks you have just placed? Maybe it has something to do with the texture update in 1.7.3.
Try breaking them, then replace the block. See if that makes a difference. I am at work at the moment and haven't even got to download the update so I am purely speculating, but the blocks may need updating for some reason. Start with breaking one and remaking/ replacing the glowstone and see if that works.
